------- Additional Comments From Al.Smith at gold.net 2002-06-25 18:09 -------
Linux 2.2 defines MAP_ANON in <bits/mman.h>, however it can seen in
/usr/src/linux/mm/mmap.c (lines 200 onwards) that if MAP_ANON is used
then the system call will return -EINVAL.
The following is a quick hack to get openssh to compile on linux 2.2:

Shared Folder usage alpha3
Dear List,
this is my first mail to this list.
I'v tried to carefully review all given information towards the Shared
Folder subject I could find in the archive / mailing list / wiki. And so
far I'm also aware that Timo hasn't put it on the active tasklist for
the 1.0 release.

samba & MS Access problems
Hi, I'm having an odd behaviour with a samba file server (3.0.14a) on
ubuntu 5.10 breezy an MS access files. When a user open an mdb file,
this file can't be opened by anyone else by doubleclicking on it,
(simply nothing happens), BUT if I open Ms Access and then open the file
manually from there, there is no problem.
I'v tried on Windows XP shares and this is not happening. I'v

mkfs.btrfs - error checking /dev/sda5 mount status
Hi,
I''m hitting this issue - sda5 is a normal device, nothing to do with
loop, encryption etc.
# mkfs.btrfs /dev/sda5
WARNING! - Btrfs v0.19-35-g1b444cd-dirty IS EXPERIMENTAL
WARNING! - see http://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org before using
error checking /dev/sda5 mount status
Is there something I can do to resolve this?
Thank you

nut driver for Belkin OmniGuard F6C230 - RKM
Hallo,
i'v bought a Belkin F6C230. The CD which is shiped with this UPS has a
totally useless installation part for linux. So I'v tried to use nut
instead of the Belkin software. I've tried both belkin drivers (belkin and
belkinunv) and also the generic driver (genericups) with all available
upstypes.
None of these drivers did actually work. Has anybody experiences with this

I'v tried wine 1.3.34, wine 1.3.34_rawinput2, and wine1.3.35. They all have the same bad mouse behavior in Empire Earth I.
The effect is this(about for x or y):

Wine changes absolute movement to relative. So, changing the scaling should be the
