Portforwarding using the control master.
Hi all, currently I am considering writing a patch for OpenSSH that will allow portforwarding using the control_master unix domain socket. The idea is to introduce an extra SSHMUX command, SSHMUX_COMMAND_SOCKS, which will then pass control to the normal socks functions used for dynamic forwarding. The main reason for me to write this patch are: - some more control over who gets to connect to

New PAM kbd-int code
http://www.mindrot.org/~djm/openssh/openssh-newpam-20030123.tar.gz Is a snapshot of the new PAM-via-KbdInt authentication support from FreeBSD's OpenSSH tree. Please test this now. I can only surmise by the silence that has greeted my previous requests for testing that the code works perfectly. -d

Resident keys?
Hello, I?m trying out the ?resident key? functionality in OpenSSH 8.2, and I?m having trouble getting it to find keys that I?ve created. I?m trying to create a new resident key using: ssh-keygen -O resident -t ed25519-sk -f <filename> This creates a key, but I?m not actually sure it is creating a ?resident? key, as when I try to dump out the resident keys with either ?ssh-keygen -K?

wine and Real Rhapsody player
I am trying to make Rhapsody (the Real Networks music service) to run under wine. This guy, AmishGeek, says he got it to work: http://www.amishgeek.com/info/rhapsody But I don't quite understand all his instructions...and I tried sending him an email but his email box was full. I don't understand the parts about installing windows media ( my machine is dual boot XP, Suse 9.3 ). Does

Rhapsody errors out on cookies?
I just tried to install the latest version of Rhapsody. Everything is fine until I try to log in. Then it gives me an error that cookies are disabled and asks to enable them. It fails this ad infinitum. Is there anything I can check?

ssh(1) multiplexing rewrite
Hi, At the n2k10 OpenBSD network hackathon, I finally got some time to clean up and rewrite the ssh(1) client multiplexing code. The attached diffs (one for portable OpenSSH, one for OpenBSD) are the result, and they need some testing. The revised multiplexing code uses a better protocol between the master and slave processes and I even bothered to write it up :) It tracks the control sockets

Port forwarding using the client of a multiplexed connection.
I am trying to set up port forwarding using the client of a multiplexed connection, but the client is dying. The connection paramaters I am using are as follows: for the master: /usr/bin/ssh -T -n -N -o ControlMaster=yes -o ControlPath=/var/run/autossh/control-%r@%h-%p.sock -o ConnectionAttempts=3 -o BatchMode=yes -o EscapeChar=none -o ExitOnForwardFailure=yes -o ServerAliveInterval=15 -o

FWIW, configure is already checking to see whether the compiler is gcc or not. There's an if clause in the configure scripts for ogg, vorbis, theora, and other of our packages that uses this to add

Rhapsody Streaming Music Service with Wine on Fedora
This program (www.listen.com) requires IE5+ and windows media player. I have tried installing those on a fake windows drive with version=win98 (quite a task for IE6 by itself), but when I try to install Windows media player 9, it tells me I already have it installed, and IE6 works slowly and gives lots of error messages. I have the program working on my WinXP partition, so I deleted the
