Hi, openssh-3.4p1 doesn't handle actual size of struct sockaddr correctly, and does copy it as long as just size of struct sockaddr. So, sshd deesn't log hostname into utmp correctly. I have been updating my FreeBSD systems for many years by updating and building from source. For the FreeBSD 9.2 cycle, I decided to use freebsd-update for binary update instead.
