R2spec woes
I tried R2spec to create the spec files necessary to have Rcpparmadillo.
I noticed that it has some issues, one example is that it placed some files
irrespectively if they were present in the tar or not.
One functionality that I think it would be nice to have would to update a
given spec file with the updated dependencies.
What do you think of this?

[Patch] PAM Service name option
It's sometimes desired to be able to alter login policy depending upon
how the person was connecting for the ssh server. For example you might
want different rules on the internal and external interface of a
gateway. In another setup you might want an sshd with a different login
policy running on a different port - and setup different firewalling
rules (for example).
I have implemented such

PERL module woes
Hi,
I'm using CentOS 4.3 on all my PC's, and I'm very happy with it.
Everything *just* works.
I want to give DVD::RIP 0.97.10 a try. I enabled rpmforge and kbs repos,
but there's only 0.52.2 available, which has an annoying bug in it. So I
installed the main dependency, transcode, via yum. Then I downloaded the
(PERL) sources of DVD::RIP 0.97.10, ran configure (e. g. perl

I'm really at a loss.
I had 5.11 running on this machine, from this physical boot disk, until I
stepped on /bin the other day.
I've tried installing Centos 5.10 and 5.11 to this Seagate 1TB drive. Both
installs run perfectly, but when I try to reboot, grub says
Filesystem type unknown, partition type 0xee
googling this indicates that the disk has a GUID partition table. This must have

spamassassin - sa-learn
How do I get this set up?
spamassassin -D --lint
shows me an error...
debug: bayes: no dbs present, cannot tie DB
R/O: /root/.spamassassin/bayes_toks
and with no db present, it doesn't learn.
Is there something simple that I'm missing?

EL4 and spamassassin info
greetings,
have been google foo for week or so.
used to be super easy to upgrade spamassassin on CentOS dist.
just grab the tarball and put in right spot and
rpmbuild -tb spamassassin-3.somethingsomething.tar.gz
then rpm or yum install and done
would take just a few minutes.
Yet...
in regards to EL4 / CentOS 4 and spamassassin, it appears the end of the
road for .spec in SA tarball

dovecot-antispam + spamassassin
Hi,
I recently saw this a branch [1] of your git repository when
dovecot-antispam has support of spamassassin. Is it intentional to not
add it to the official release?
Are there any plan to officially support spamassassin?

spamassassin needs updating?
The spamassassin on my server is 3.2.5 and is stock CentOS 5.x.
I do apply updates regularly.
Most of my legitimate contacts are either whitelisted or sorted into
folders before spamassassin sees them, but I have noticed an increasing
amount of legitimate mail marked as spam.
One issue seems to be the FH_DATE_PAST_20XX rule.
I was able to fix that via running sa-update as root per
