debug output when ssh'ing a remote host
Hi list, I'm not sure whether this (see below) is a "bug" or a feature but as I cannot find any information on this neither in the INSTALL file nor via ./configure --help or somewhere else, I would like to ask you whether there is an answer to my question. Thanx a lot & kind regards - have a nice day, B. Courtin Question: --------- I lately updatet from OpenSSH 3.0.1p1 to

Logging of key fingerprint / comment with v3.4p1
Hi, I'm wondering whether it is possible to log the key fingerprint (or, the comment of the key) that was used for authentication) with the actual available openssh v3.4p1 on solaris? (with Solaris 8 / UsePrivilegeSeparation yes, if this might be relevant, it seems not) -Is it possible at all? How? -Is there a special sshd configuration option neccessary to use? -Does is only work with a

partial plots for logistic regression using glm
Dear R users, I am modelling the probability of error in a behavioural task using the glm() function (with the numbers of successes and failures listed for each line in the data frame). How can I plot the partial effects of the predictors? Many thanks in advance, Stav

dovecot on wheezy, best ssl configuration ?
Hi all, when hardening dovecot against the POODLE vulnerability, we followed the advise to disable SSL2 and SSL3 but this is giving problems with some email clients (claws-mail). ssl_protocols = !SSLv2 !SSLv3 results in the following error: dovecot: pop3-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 1 secs): user=<>, rip=XXX, lip=XXX, TLS handshaking: SSL_accept() failed: error:1408A0C1:SSL

CIDR address/masklen matching support for permitopen="host:port" restrictions?
Dear openssh-unix-dev list, in OpenSSH 5.1 you introduced CIDR address/masklen matching for "Match address" blocks in sshd_config as well as supporting CIDR matching in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys from="..." restrictions in sshd. I wonder whether CIDR address/masklen matching will be implemented for permitopen="host:port" restrictions in sshd as well, that would be quite

[LLVMdev] LLVM-ar and openssl
Hi everyone, I encountered a strange bug when I tried to compile openssl (https://www.openssl.org/) with clang and llvm-ar on a 64-bit OS X. I changed the openssl makefile to use llvm-ar instead of simply ar. Openssl will then create two static libraries libssl.a and libcrypto.a. The problem occurs when it tries to link these two static libraries to the final openssl executable. I get the

SSL cert problems.
I'm really racking my brain trying to figure this one out here. I am running a pop3 server for remote offices on CentOS 5.2. We purchased a SSL cert from Verisign and installed it on our dovecot server, but I continue to get failure problems with the cert and I don't know where to go from here. here is some info about our config: dovecot version: # dovecot --version 1.0.7 hostname:

WINBIND configuration and NT Authentication]
Hi, Yes it's possible to authenticate users from win 2000 server with winbind. For me the PAM configuration was the hardest part. I used mandrake 9 and it has a realy good pre config. And if you want to modify the folder/file permissions from NT/W2k PDC then don't use ReiserFS as the filesystem. Use either EXT3 or XFS. Mayby the ReiserFS 4 will have the ACL support. I have had
