xxx_kex possible memory leak?
Howdy,
I'm working on porting the portable version of OpenSSH to the Nucleus RTOS.
So far I've had a great deal of success. However, I've run into a possible
memory leak, and I'm not sure whether I need to write my own cleanup
function for it or not. The xxx_kex global (defined in sshd.c) seems to not
get freed. I've had difficulty finding a cleanup routine for it. I've

Re: samba Digest, Vol 45, Issue 29
You really meant 300 _M_bps as the upper bound according to Enterasys.
My switches are from Enterasys too. After a firmware updates I get about
722 Mbps both ways. The client's disk drive (Maxtor 250 GB) can't read or
write faster.
If you don't get transfer rates in the immediate neighbourhood of the
read/write
speeds of your client's disk drives, then your network setup (hardware

R: Moran's I
Hi-
I would like to assign distance classes (lags) to the moran''s I test in R.
I donĀ¹t have equally spaced points since I was mapping shrubs across a
landscape (vs. an experiment or survey in a grid). I somehow need to
select points based on the distances in the distance matrix (i.e., I need to
select all pairs of points that occur 0-25 m from each other, 25-50 m,
etc...).

Two operators, 10 rollover lines, Cisco 7960G chanisavail problem
Here's my situation.
I have two receptionists that answer incoming lines. Each has a 7960G with
5 incoming lines each. I'm trying to set this up so each line on each phone
doesn't utilize call waiting. My problem seems to be that
ChanisAvail(Sip/cisco1&Sip/cisco2&Sip/cisco3&Sip/cisco4&Sip/cisco5) always
returns cisco1.
Here are the sip.conf entries: (mind you,

Setting channel display in SIP
I have a situation where I need to know which Zap channel an incoming
call is on, so that the call can be answered appropriately when a SIP
phone displays the channel. These Zap calls are coming in over PSTN and
don't have caller ID.
As far as I can make out my SIP phones (WuChuan HOP-1002) display the
user part from the SIP "From:" header as the second line on the
display. If the

acf function
Hi,
Im new to R so this question is quite fundamental.
Im trying to compare some autocorrelations generated by the acf function to some theoretical correlations. How can I have acces to just the autocorrelations, for computation?
This is some of my code:
> acf.data<-c(acf(x))
> acf.data
This is the R output:
$acf

newbie question - routes.rb on server
Hello,
I am new to Ruby but not to programming. I have a domain name and server
space with a host who said that ruby on rails should work on the server.
All I want to do is make sure that a test ruby application works online
so that I can begin development on an app. I am able to get the test
program to work locally but not online.
In C:/ruby/projects/test/controllers/TestController.rb:

tm: custom reader for readPlain
Hello:
I have a series of newspaper articles from a Canadian newspaper database (Canadian Newsstand) that look just like below.
I've read through this vignette (http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/tm/vignettes/extensions.pdf) about creating a custom reader to extract meta-data, but I can't understand how to apply this in the context of a text document, rather than in the tabular format

Changing x-axis on boxplot
Dear List,
?
I am creating a boxplot with two subsets, very similar to the example by Roger
Bivand at ?boxplot (reproduced below).? I am trying to change the labels on the
x-axis to have one number to cover both subsets.? I can do this in other plots
by using axis=FALSE followed by a separate axis() command.? I have also tried
variations in the names= argument but can't get it to work.?

Cox model with time-dependent coefficients
Dear R-help Community,
I'm currently struggling with some issues extending the proportional Cox model with time-dependent coefficients and could really need some help.
Since I'm not experienced in adding code in an email in a nice way I add the link to my question and code:

Samba 3 dms doesn't allow access through interdomain trust

I have a little problem:
HRH = trusted domain (Samba 3)
Hendricks = trusting domain (NT4 sp6a)
Trusts are setup between the NT4 and Samba3 + OpenLDAP domain and
appear to be working properly.
When logged into the HRH domain on a W2k workstation I can view, read,
