[Bug 254] Problems building.
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254
------- Additional Comments From dtucker at zip.com.au 2002-06-12 23:25 -------
What C compiler are you using? There's a bug in some versions of gcc that causes
it to pick up -L link paths last, so it might be picking up libcrypto from
/usr/lib and the headers from /usr/local/ssl/include. See:

[PATCH nbdkit 1/2] vddk: Delay loading VDDK until config_complete.
We were previously dlopen-ing it in the load() method. This is very
early and in particular means that the only possible way to configure
where we find the library is through environment variables and not
through config parameters. Also it's not necessary as we don't call
any functions from the library (such as VixDiskLib_InitEx) until
config_complete.
This change is neutral refactoring

configure problem --- Can't find recent OpenSSL libcrypto
Hello Gurus,
I tried my best as I can to do RTFM and Googling to find any information to
solve the problem myself which I failed.
I installed OpenSSL 0.9.6d 9 May 2002 with this option on a Solaris 8 box
using Sun Forte6-2
$config solaris64-sparcv9-cc --prefix=/local/santanu/pkg/ssl
Now I am trying to install openssh 3.2.3p1 and getting this error.

v2v: vddk: Switch to using ‘-it vddk’ to specify VDDK as input transport.
Proposed small change to the command line of virt-v2v when specifying
that you want VDDK mode.

This is one of the advantages of Plack vs mod_perl, by the way: decoupling the Perl version from the web server version.

Are you certain you don?t mean LD_LIBRARY_PATH

[nbdkit PATCH v5 0/4] vddk: Drive library loading from libdir parameter.
Differences from v4:
Patch 1 is simplified: I realized that since we already use -rdynamic
for nbdkit (after all, we WANT our dlopen()d plugins to be able to
call our nbdkit_* exports), it is only a matter of adding dlopen to
the set of symbols that we export. With that done, there is no
separate shared library needed; our dlopen shim is now part of nbdkit
proper, and we don't have to tweak

Executing OpenMP 4.0 code on Nvidia's GPU
Hi Arpith,
That is exactly what it is :).
My bad, I thought I copied over the libraries to where LIBRARY_PATH
pointing but apparently it was copied to a wrong destination.
Thanks a lot.

[PATCH v2 0/2] v2v: Add -it vddk and -it ssh flags.
The first patch was previously posted here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-December/msg00018.html
That patch hasn't changed except that I made the ‘input_transport’
variable type-safe.
The second patch adds a significant new mode for liberating data from
VMware: the ability to copy VMs over SSH directly from ESXi
hypervisors. Although this requires enabling SSH access (a

[LLVMdev] building llvm-gcc on Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal

Do you have any /lib64/libc.so* or /usr/lib64/libc.so* ?
Are you still setting LIBRARY_PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH, as mentioned in:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/binutils/+bug/738098
?
Thanks,
Jay.

[Bug 1272] Unable to make OpenSSH with undefined refs in readconf.o
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1272
------- Comment #9 from dtucker at zip.com.au 2007-02-19 23:22 -------
Another thought: do you have multiple instances of libgcc? Perhaps one
in /usr/local/lib and one elsewhere?

mismatch against version of openssl, letter version brokeness
What risk exists in changing the check for the matching version of
openssl so that the final letter part of the version (e.g. 0.9.6c
vs. 0.9.6d) is ignored? Are there any security vulnerabilities in
such a thing? What if ssh(d) is linked against an older _letter_
version such as 0.9.6c and now finds the library is 0.9.6d? Is
there a security risk in that? Surely a major API change would not

OpenSSH 34p1 for AIX error. Please help
I'm trying to install open-ssh 34p1 on an Aix server, running 4.3.3..
I compiled openssh 0.9.6d and zlib 1.1.4. on the server , and also created
the a bff pancake using the contrib/aix/buildbff.sh script.
I can't start sshd either installing it as a package or without.
When I tried to start sshd I received the following error:

SCL devtoolset-3 or 4 without eclipse?
Is there a way to install devtoolset packages without the bloat of eclipse?
I just want the new compiler and toolchain, not a big IDE.
BTW devtoolset-3 dependencies are broken in yum with C6

[LLVMdev] make error building llvm/clang 3.2 on Linux
I'm continuing this here in llvm-dev since the thread was started here,
but, in hindsight, it may have been better in cfe-dev, because the
problem seems to be related to clang.
I turned on "verbose" mode in make (VERBOSE=1 TOOL_VERBOSE=1) and found
that it is clang, not gcc, that is being used at this point in the make.
Based on the command issued (particularly with the --sysroot

[PATCH nbdkit v2 2/3] NOT WORKING: vddk: Drive library loading from libdir parameter.
I couldn't get this to work in the end. This is the latest
non-working version. This email documents what doesn't work for the
permanent record.
The central problem is that VDDK InitEx() appears to dlopen() various
of its own plugins. Although I wasn't able to capture exactly what
dlopen() command it is running, the plugins cannot be loaded because
they rely on the recompiled

[LLVMdev] make error building llvm/clang 3.2 on Linux
Just in case someone is having similar problems and/or following this
thread, here's my final "solution" (at least, for now).
In my bash build script, prior to configure, I set the C_INCLUDE_PATH
and CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH to empty strings, and then set some other
environment variables instead:
export C_INCLUDE_PATH=
export CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH=

[LLVMdev] make error building llvm/clang 3.2 on Linux
I'm attempting to build a native build of clang from the 3.2 source
distribution tarballs, but I ran into this build error that's got me
really puzzled. My platform is Linux - 32-bit Ubuntu (12.04) running
on a PC. Here's the (abbreviated) output from make:
