The portable OpenSSH source comes with an implementation of setproctitle() that on some systems (Solaris for example) does nothing. The current sendmail distributions have an alternate setproctitle() that tries to get the effect on a wide range of systems. Details of installation attached. Effect: when I build and test (with full path names) ssh in the openssh... directory, everything works fine.
