sftp client reget reput
we have implemented this function for 3.1p1, and have been using it in
production sense may 2002. The patch has been ported to 3.7.1p2, we have
been using it in 3.7.1p2 for awhile, if anyone is interested, here it is.
This is the same patch David Bradford talked about on 2002-06-05

Greg Hayes

Feature request: Resuming sftp transfers (reget & reput)
Dear openssh developers,
is there any plan to include the reget & reput commands into the sftp
client? The sftp-server seems to already support the needed offset
parameters.

sftp reget/reput
Hello openssh@
I thought about sftp's reget/reput commands.
Several days ago, Damien Miller write to tech at openbsd.org (it was

sftp-server and chroot
Hi,
It's a shame that the sshd/sftp-server programs do not support chroot and
sftp-only users. As far as I can tell, there's a patch availble that
modifies OpenSSH to chroot() based on a specific entry in /etc/passwd.
Since, I personally, do not enjoy applying unofficial patches to released
programs, I was looking for an alternative but found none.
I've written a small sample

I need Help!
Hello!
I'm beginning to use R and I have a problem.
I've a data base of 1491 elements, I could create the points from this data frame but when I try to create the pairs the computer takes 30 minutes and a message appears: The memory limit was achieved!
Do you know how can I enlarge the memory size available for R in my computer?
I'll really appreciate your help.
Bye,

samba and NT network
Hi Samba Team
I have a urgent problem. I have a Unix box that's running Samba Server, I
can see the Server on the NT network but when I try to access the share I
get the message:
"\\Samba is not accessible".
The network path was not found.
On the WINS Server I have a static mapping to the IP and I'm able to do a

rsync HELP!!!
Sonu: I'm giving the whole history to the rsync list. If the tests i
subscribed passed, yet you get that error, it's more in depth than i can
go into. You've got 1 hour, let's hope somebody immediately recognizes
the problem. I've got some ideas, but no time to explore any more for
you.
Gentlemen: does anybody see a quick resolution for Sonu? Looks like he's

problem using rshaper
Hello,
We are managing the control of outgoing bandwidth using HTB. We are
trying to use rshaper to control our incoming bandwidth. But the bandwidth
doesn''t seem to come under the specified limit. We are not sure what we did
is right. This is what we did.
insmod rshaper.o
rshaperctl 192.168.1.20 500
There were no errors.
192.168.1.20 is our IP in a LAN.

port-forwarding problem!?
Using OpenSSH_2.9p2 on Linux and Sparc Solaris.
Trying to connect from Linux to Solaris, with remote port-forwarding
i.e. On Linux, ssh -R 3000:Linux:23 Solaris
The connection is established okay, but the port-forwarding does not
work; on Solaris, the connection to localhost port 3000 is accepted, but it
appears as if no data makes it back to port 23 on Linux. If an older 1.2.30
sshd is used
