[Bug 127] PAM with ssh authentication and pam_krb5 doesn't work properly
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127
------- Additional Comments From djm at mindrot.org 2003-01-07 17:13 -------
This fix is incorrect - the creds (which are often supplemental groups) need to
be restablished after initgroups(), which we call elsewhere.
Does the PAM module not support restablishing credentials?

[Bug 926] pam_session_close called as user or not at all
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=926
------- Comment #21 from t8m at centrum.cz 2006-08-05 01:18 -------
The patch causes a regression with pam_krb5 module.
See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=201341
As I said above I think that the only correct solution which would
solve all cases (privsep yes/no, root/regular user) would be to add
another fork before the

Base pam_krb5 on recent -STABLE and credential cache storage
Hello,
Prequalify: I'm quite a novice w/ Kerberos, so my terminology and
assumptions may be rough. Also, please CC me since I'm not a list
subscriber.
I'm running a fairly recent -STABLE [1] and have installed the base
Heimdal Kerberos implementation via the MAKE_KERBEROS5 knob in
/etc/make.conf. I'm having the problem that I don't see a cached
credential file being created

[Bug 445] User DCE Credentials do not get forwarded to child session

------- Additional Comments From djm at mindrot.org 2003-05-15 21:39 -------
I am not sure I understand (my Kerberos knowledge isn't so great):
We already set this for Krb5 auth:
#ifdef KRB5
if (s->authctxt->krb5_ticket_file)
child_set_env(&env, &envsize, "KRB5CCNAME",
s->authctxt->krb5_ticket_file);

Again: Cannot delete credentials
As has often been mentioned, Solaris (at least 7 and 8) gives a debug1 message
on logout: Cannot delete credentials. This occurs when in auth-pam.c,
function do_pam_cleanup_proc(), pam_setcred(__pamh, PAM_DELETE_CRED) is
called under UID 0. I suggested a patch for this on Nov 22, 2001, based on
openssh 2.9.9p2 through 3.0.1p1. [The attempt in my patch to reset to UID 0
