Nun habe ich ohne Erfolg versucht, R zu installieren. Soweit ich der Anleitung folgen konnte habe ich es so wie auf http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/R gemacht. Im Terminal kann ich R problemlos starten. Echo Cancellation, what format does the .sw files have
Hi I'm debugging why echo cancellation does not work in my app using the DUMP_ECHO_CANCEL_DATA flag. What format does the data I receive have, looks like 16bit integers just dumped but when plotting it in MATLAB I do not get a raw audio data signal I expected. Syntax for 2 ISDN Cards
Hi there, I searched in mailinglist and in web, but no answer to my problem... Only this post with no answers: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-March/038994.html I'm using CVS Asterisk (05/17/04) with chan_capi 0.3.1. (multiple controller support). In my Asterisk-box there are 2 Fritzcards (module for second card compiled with changes on sourcecode found in the web).

setting ValueRangeProcessor at runtime
I want to set a variable number and type of ValueRangeProcessors at run time based on a configuration file. But I seem to be running into (what I think is) a C++ scope issue. I tried just a simple test to see if I could add 5 VPs in a loop. Xapian::QueryParser qparser; Xapian::Query query; int vp = 0; while(vp < 5) { Xapian::StringValueRangeProcessor sproc(vp++);

rlogin authentication bug
Hi, I have discovered a bug in the rhost module of Linux-PAM-0.57. This bug leads to a vulnerability in the remote login authentication, with the effect that ordinary user accounts may not be password protected. There is only one case when the bug causes a vulnerability: The problem case is when the user''s .rhost file has the name of a machine with *more than one IP address* as the

choose.files limit?
Howdy, When I use the choose.files command to read files a large number of file names to a character vector inside a function, used to access these files one after the other, there appears to be a limit. I do not know whether it is arbitrary, but in this case the limit was 991 files. The file names are long. Does that matter? The error message that appears says that it cannot find file #992

C API
Hi. I am one of the developers of Swish-e (http://swish-e.org/), an indexing/search tool similar to Xapian. I am currently researching future development directions for the Swish-e project. Three of our most often-requested features are UTF-8 support, incremental indexing, and large (multimillion) doc sets, all of which seem to be ably handled in the Xapian library. So one possible

Strange "feature"
Hi all! Doing my first steps with OCFS (1.0.9), I ran across a nifty little "feature".... We've been trying if DMP with QLogic 2300 HBAs works without having DMP activated (ok, blame on me...). ocfstool allows you to mount different partitions on the same mountpoint, but after we tried that, everything went to state "D" and we chose to reboot the whole cluster (4

Couldn't open status file /var/adm/slh/samba/locks/STATUS..LC K
Gunnar, Check (ll -d dirname) to make sure that there is at least x permission for everyone in each directory down the /var/adm/slh/samba/locks path; also, does the STATUS..LCK file exist in the named directory, and if so what are the permissions on it? Hope this helps, Don -----Original Message----- From: Bakken, Gunnar [mailto:bakkengj@mail.slh.wisc.edu] Sent: Tuesday, January 16, 2001 6:08 PM

Display R graphics windows in second monitor
Greetings, I would like to display the R graphics window on one monitor of my computer while simultaneously working with the R console and multiple script windows in another monitor. Is this possible? I know I can use Tinn R or something similar but I would prefer not to use these secondary programs if possible. Any advice would be appreciated. SWISH::Prog::Xapian
Early[0] implementations of Swish3 for Perl are now available on CPAN. http://search.cpan.org/dist/SWISH-Prog-KSx/ http://search.cpan.org/dist/SWISH-Prog-Xapian/ These Perl implementations offer KinoSearch[1] or Xapian[2] as alternate backend libraries. SWISH::Prog::Xapian should build indexes compatible with the swish_xapian tool that comes with libswish3. Feedback welcome. [0] They are
