Unable to find the Domain Master Browser name
I have just installed Samba on RedHat Linux 6.2 which is working fine.
However, I've noted that for every 20 minutes, the following error message
being logged under log.nmb,

Man Pages
OpenSSH 3.7.1p2, Solaris: The man pages are converted by the awk script
mdoc2man.awk. But some commands are not recognized and remain as such,
but without the leading dot:
.Bk -words
.Ek
.CM (is .Cm intended?)
The script should be enhanced or these commands avoided.
I also tried the perl script mdoc2man.pl from OpenSSH 3.5p1, which gives
exactly the same results.

openssh 2.9p1: data loss when stdout sent to a pipe
We recently tried upgrading openssh from 2.5.2p2 to 2.9p1
and discovered that it no longer worked to feed the output from a remote
command into a pipe, unless the output was short and the pipe was very
fast at processing its input.
Example 1: ssh remote_machine some_command | less
(where "some_command" generates a lot of output) now fails after
the first screenful, with a

Converting a list to a data frame
It looks like you made a copy/paste error below. Your ata.frame should
be data.frame.

Possible formatting bug in ssh-agent.1 man page
Version info: OpenSSH_7.3p1, OpenSSL 1.0.2i 22 Sep 2016, Arch linux
The ssh-agent.1 man page seems to have an indentation oddity, at least, as
formatted with recent Arch linux manpage toolset. Here's what appears in
the formatted output just after the description of the the "-t" option:

Converting a list to a data frame
Good morning.
Novice usR. Here.
I am following this string, among many, learning as I go.
Quick question please?
I thought that perhaps ata.frame was part of the zoo pkg, b/c when I searched it came up in help?
However, evidently not or I am not using it properly.
Please advise, thank you.

samba 3.0.14a works with ldapsam backend but not 3.5.10-125.el6
we are migrating our standalone Samba sever (3.0.14a) on a Solaris 10 box to
an RHEL 6.3 box.
Testing shows that on Solaris 3.0.14a works with both the OpenLDAP server
we are currently using and the IPA2.2 server as LDAP backend. But 3.5.10-125.el6
on a RHEL 6.3 box does not work with either.
I can still map a share with 3.5 as owner of the shared directory, but secondary
group ownership does

------- Additional Comments From stevesk at pobox.com 2002-04-11 08:57 -------
can you provide cpp output from the file (e.g., cc -E)
for the tmp[] definition?
can someone with some AIX knowledge help with this?

[LLVMdev] LLVM ExecutionEngine/JIT trampoline question
I understand that we need to push the address to a register then branch
using the register. But i am asking why there is a trampoline there such
that a call to foo is first branched to an snippet and the snippet branches
to the X86CompilationCallback. is this snippet necessary ?
Thanks

Converting a list to a data frame
Hi Kevin,
There is probably a better way, but it can be done in two steps like this
temp <- list(A=data.frame(x=1:2, y=3:4),B=data.frame(x=5:6,y=7:8))
temp <- lapply(names(temp), function(n, temp) {
temp[[n]]$type <- n
return(temp[[n]])
}, temp = temp)
do.call(rbind, temp)
