New mailing list manager
The openssh-unix-announce at mindrot.org mailing list has just been migrated from Majordomo to Mailman[1]. Posting to the mailing list should be unaffected. If you wish to unsubscribe or alter the parameters of your subscription, you may now do so at the list's webpage: http://www.mindrot.org/mailman/listinfo/openssh-unix-announce To make changes you will require a password. Sieve & Adding headers.
Hi all, I've just migrated my mail system from procmail to managesieve/sieve and I'm having trouble trying to duplicate a could of rules I used to use in my procmail config. One particular rule would be this: :0 Wfh * ^Sender: owner-scientific-linux-devel at LISTSERV.FNAL.GOV | (sed -e '/^Subject:/ s/\[SCIENTIFIC-LINUX-DEVEL\] *//g'| sed ':a;N;$!ba;s/Precedence:

flush-btrfs-1 hangs when building openwrt
Hi, Since update to 2.6.37 I can''t build openwrt on my btrfs buildroot anymore. I''m not sure if this is related to the other flush-btrfs-1 thread. plenty of diskspace is free: /dev/mapper/cruor-build 97G 68G 27G 73% /opt/build It always hangs when openwrt builds the ext4 image and runs tune2fs on it.

Quick question on sieve
I have a procmail recipe that does the majority of my heavy lifting for my mailing lists. It's pretty straightforward, but as I understand it, this isn't something sieve can do: # [ ] contains a space and a tab :0 * 9876543210^0 ^(List-Id:.*<|X-Mailing-List:[ ]*)\/[-A-z0-9_+]+ * 9876543210^0 ^(List-Post:[ ]*(<mailto:)?|List-Owner:[ ]*(<mailto:)?owner-)\/[-A-Z0-9_+]+ *

Procmail/Formail problem on 6.3
Hi! In the process of making mysystem work again, having just done a reinstall of 6.3 x86_64. I have a considerable collection of procmail recipes for filtering mail in various ways, and since the upgrade none of 'em is working. procmail passes every mail thru spambayes, which gives back a rating on spamminess. this happens, so it's not as if procmail is simply punting. that is

Digest Only?
Is this list only available in digest form only? I would like to receive individual postings so I can sort them by subject and just look at the ones I'm interested. I've subscribed to many lists, both listerv & majordomo, and I've only ever essage easier?seen one other list that was digest-only. Does *anyone* find scolling through a 40k message easier? -Ron Lavoie Ron Lavoie

Dovecot/Sieve shortcuts?
Hi, Is there a clean way to match on an email address the way procmail ^TO_ did? that was a macro which expanded to (^((Original-)?(Resent-)?(To|Cc|Bcc)|(X-Envelope |Apparently(-Resent)?)-To):(.*[^-a-zA-Z0-9_.])?) so you could write * ^TO_dovecot dovecot and grab messages to the list. In sieve, I find myseld writing ["To","cc"] and wonder if there's a better way. Adam

R-announce moved from majordomo to [procmail+mailman]
I have moved the R-announce mailing list from the Majordomo software to a combination of procmail & mailman an hour or so ago. You find a link in the footer of this message giving an URL where you can modify your subscription, look at the archives (everything from the beginning in 1997) and more. CHANGE: Postings to R-announce are now moderated, ie. they have to be approved by a list

Postfix locking equivalence?
/etc/postfix/main.cf.default: mailbox_delivery_lock = flock, dotlock Is flock equivalent to dovecot's fnctl locking? For mbox what type of locking settings should I be using? (No NFS, only local filesystem.) Warren Togami warren at togami.com

is r-help-digest working?
Dear all, I'm a subscriber of the r-help-Digest; however, currently I'm not receiving the daily message. The 2 last digest messages I've got are: V3 # 157 (2/11/02) and V3 #165 (12/11/02), and both are incomplete (the initial indice list many items but only few are of them are shown). I did resuscribe, but the problem persists. Is this just my problem (a problem of my system)? Or is

TMDA whitelisting anti-spam filter installed
Hello, I've installed the TDMA whitelist filter in front of majordomo on all mailing lists at Xiph.Org. I also repaired a few unrelated spam filter breaks. Posting from subscribed email addresses is unaffected. Any post to a mailing list from an unknown email list will require a confirmation message the first time posting from that mail address. A confirmation reply adds that address to
