"ksh: scp: not found"
I upgraded a compiled version of ssh-1.2.27 to a swinstalled depot of OpenSSH_2.5.1p1 on HPUX-11.00. I created links in /usr/local/bin/<ssh program> pointing to /opt/openssh2/bin/<ssh program>. Ssh works. Scp does not. HP support does not support ssh. Below the line you will find the output of a verbose scp command from the server to it self.

RE: samba digest, Vol 1 #2098 - 22 msgs
If you go to http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/Misc/samba-2.2.3a/ you can at least get the precompiled version of 2.2.3a for 10.20 if that will work for you. Otherwise roll your own. OpenSSH with slow login
Hi, I have installed Openssh on a HP-UX 11.00 and I am having a problem. It lasts 5 minutes to login, after I enter my login and password. I try to connect from a Windows machine having a Tera Term SSH client to the HP UX with the OpenSSH server ? Why does it take so long time (5 minutes) to establish a connection from a remote machine to this openssh server ? When I do Telnet to the same

RES: OpenSSH with slow login
I gueess it is not a DNS problem, because either using name or IP, I have always the problem. I guess the problem is that I am using ssh on inetd.conf (sshd -i), so It has to generate a key each time I start a session. What do you think ? -----Mensagem original----- De: Dan Kaminsky [mailto:dan at doxpara.com] Enviada em: segunda-feira, 10 de junho de 2002 20:51 Para: Jorge Cleber Teixeira de

Antw: SSh 3.1p1
Hi Markus, it has bin tested by me against HP/UX 11.0 in the mode "trusted system" and worked well. Since PAM-authentification is default in 11.00 you must not activate it via the configure switch "--with-pam". If you like I can send you a depot-file and the prndg-package by Lutz Jaenicke as a depot as well because I compiled the ssh with use of it for generating entropie.

Thanks for replying so quickly Guus. I will try increasing the re-keying time to 86400, and am now running the servers in debug 5 mode logging to a file, so will get all output. Its interesting what you say about UDP being given lower priority, the two end points of this VPN are actually within the same data center, but are being routed within the DC's core routers (because its going

HPUX warning during build spotted
?Hello everybody, during the last build (#380) on HPUX (eaton-hpux11-pa-risc buildslave), I've noticed the following warning when compiling upsd: ../../server/upsd.c:417: warning: implicit declaration of function 'fromhost' fromhost is either an alias for sock_host or declared as extern void fromhost() in tcpd.h (iff any of TLI or PTX or TLI_SEQUENT macra are defined), which I guess
