I've copied over the old smb.conf and smbpasswd file, copied over /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow files too. Hey dudes, I've got a centOS 4.2 (clean reinstall) workstation and a Samba mount in my home directory where "c:\uploads" is a XP Home directory mounted as ~\uploads in my home directory. Hi everyone, I am writing a small tool that will compare a file on my machine with the the same file on an rpm repository and then give me a diff. E.g. # rpm-file-diff /etc/samba/smb.conf will show a diff output so that I can see at a glance what changes I have made to my local smb.conf file.
