Antw: Ctrl-C problem on HP-UX
Hi Ryan,
I run into the same problem with my HP-UX 11 as well as HP-UX 10.20 boxes. Therefore I decided not to start the sshd from the swagent in the postinstall script. I start the daemon via the lan console by hand. I know in large environments it is not a perfect solution but the only one which works these days ;-((
regards
Stephan

User Authentication and Authorization with SiteMinder
Hi All
I am new the RoR and would like some advice on how to integrate SiteMinder
authentication/authorization in my Rails app.
For those who are not aware SiteMinder authenticates users and then
redirects the user back to the application that requested authentication
while setting response header which look something like this

AGEod American Civil War vs. Wine 1.1.18
Hi,
I'm trying to run AACW (and WIA) under Ubuntu 8.10 x84. I installed Wine 1.1.18, Winetricks and installed AACW and patched the game up to 1.13b. Unfortenately, the game won't start because of an error ("Exception EAccessViolation dans le module AACW.exe dans 00004054. Violation d'access a l'adresse 00404054 dans le module 'AACW.exe'. problems with apache downgrade
There was an upgrade on a couple of our servers yesterday, mid-afternoon
our time, of httpd and httpd-devel, and suddenly SiteMinder (bleah)
stopped working correctly, and is now pegging a cpu, according to top. So,
as a last resort, I tried downgrading both of them. When I did so, the
server that uses ssl *erased* mod-ssl, not downgrading it, and I'll have
to find where I can get the previous

I am currently in the process of translating a large script from S-Plus over

but as they say 'the devil is in the details' and my low level stuff is
struggling. Specifically, I have enountered a problem translating from key()
to legend(); in splus I was able to create a tables of statistics (AUCs and

9.1-RC3 problems with Creative Audigy 2 ZS [SB0350] audio

Recently I have switched to Creative Audigy 2 ZS [SB0350] PCI audio

same kernel driver have some problems with audio/video streams - sound
does not resemble original at all and the video player hangs (until
audio buffer is flushed I guess). Did anyone enountered similar

Odd problem with updates to the recent CR
We started updating via CR over a week ago, before 6.7 was official, and
just today identified an issue.... For (alleged) security, the agency I
work as a contractor for runs SiteMinder, from CA.
#insert rant_against_CA.h
Anyway, starting late last week, we found issues - as in, its process,
which runs under, and is started by, apache, was suddenly pegging a CPU or
so. Trying to stop httpd, that
