hi, just change the problem in another email. I can make calls from H323 to Sip, but cannot on the other hand, i.e. from SIP to H323. I am thninking that the asterisk don't response the REQUEST of the Sip Provider. Or, the GNUGK don't do a response to the asterisk that don't malke a response to the Sip Provider!!!! AnyIdea!?!? I think I am the first to use the $135 Avaya 4602 SIP phone, but I need some support from the community to fix one problem I have with it. The phone stops working after about 20-30mins if I have mailbox=context in Asterisk; when I do have mailbox=contect in asterisk the sip debug returns "481 extension does not exist." I installed 2.5.1p2 on an irix system and noticed that if a user logged in typed "logname" it was providing the wrong username. File creations were correct, "w" produces the correct output....so something is funky in p2 that wasn't there in p1.
