I don't mind using the password.
Just I am asking if there is some sort of protocol to retrieve the
information without playing with the xsl !!
I mean, to directly retrieve the wanted information, like
ME: Get MetaData
Server: Celin Dion - All comes back to me.

That is why I asked for a protocol :)
Why we have to go the extra mile of parsing the XML, that will contain
plenty of info we don't need !!
Anyway, thank you for the tips.

Tapdisk processes being left behind when hvm domu's migrate/shutdown
Hi All,
I'm seeing tapdisk processes not being terminated after a HVM vm is shutdown or migrated away. I don't see this problem with linux paravirt domu's, just windows hvm ones.

Retry dial when busy
Some switches provide the functionality to try a number till it becomes
available. Thus when one dials a number and get a busy, one enters a *XX#
code and the switch will call your extension when the called party becomes
available. Has somebody already built this in/for Asterisk, otherwise I'll
look into it.

Rcpp, dyn.load and C++ problems
.Call("compute_values_cpp")
Also, if you were passing arguments to the C++ function you would need to
declare the function differently.
Do a search on "Rcpp calling C++ functions from R"

can't write Samba share as anonymous
I'm not sure I have understood, I'm mounting the share as "urca" user,
which is not a known user.
Although I'm setting smb.conf so that for guest user it uses the
privileges of the known user "andrea"
Could you please advice on what I should set for "guest account" in
smb.conf?
Thanks
Andrea

First Gluster Volume deploy: recommended configuration and suggestions?
Dear users,
I just started my first Gluster test volume using 3 servers (each server contains 12 hdd).
I would like to create a "distributed disperse volume? but I?m a little bit confused about the right configuration schema that I should use.
Should I use JBOD disks? How many bricks to be defined? Ideal redundancy value? Ideal disperse-data count value? 6x(4+2) or 3x(8+4) volume

why check f_path.mnt is equal for source and dest in btrfs_ioctl_clone()?
This gives EXDEV for clone operations that btrfs could otherwise execute
and with slight change of circumstances will actually execute fine.
Imagine we have a btrfs on /dev/mapper/foobar with subvols /foo and
/bar. Let’s also imagine top of said fs in mounted at /mnt. In this
case, a cross-subvol clone of /mnt/foo/srcfile to /mnt/bar/dstfile will
succeed.
However, if only the individual

Silly bash scripts have stuff like below to get things done, but equally
silly guestfish scripts fail to add the required newline. Why is that?

echo "$dev2 $mnt2 $fs $opts 1 2" >> /etc/fstab
write-append /etc/fstab "$dev1 $mnt1 $fs $opts 1 2" : \

First time class problems

I''ve just had my very first attempt of making a JavaScript class,
"prototype" style, so please bare with me, for any disastrous errors :-)
Anyway, I''ve made this class, which is called on an input field on focus:

It works fine in FireFox, but causes some problems in IE. My question is
regarding line 69 in the paste. What is

FW: cgh package
Hi,
I would like some extra information on the 'cgh' package in R. I noticed
that there isn't much activity regarding this package on the R and BioC
mailing list (I googled it).
I started using this package and I have few questions:
1/ As I have a custom tiling like array @8um features resolution (affy),
I have a lot of probes to work with. I'm assuming it is correct to
