hi all
hi,

iptables aiming at succesfully implementing a DMZ-NAT solution for our
college (institute.)
i am a student and never had past experience but hv used linux for
quite some time now.
so my first question is: do the functions of iptables and iproute2
overlap atall. i am preety confused regd this matter.
2nd: is it possible to

[LLVMdev] Semi-random crashes seemingly related to Arguments
I've been having somewhat semi-random crashes that seem to be related
to my use of Argument objects, usually when I then try to use them for
processing, for examples in a CallInst.
Do I need to copy or wrap the Argument if I want to use it as a
Value? Or can I just use the reference that I am getting (multiple
times)? I think there is probably something very fundamental about

Transcoding listening test
As far as I can see, transcoding could be usefull
for people who do not primarly care about quality
but about filesizes.
One could assume that such a user would have a
collection of mp3's at 128kbps or higher bitrates,
and uses an encoder like BladeEnc or Xing. He wants
to take uses of ogg's supposed quality and transcode
his 128-or-higher files into 96 or 112kbps oggs to
save diskspace.

Your code looks pretty reasonable to me. The only thing to be aware of is
that varargs functions will have fewer Argument nodes than calls to the

[LLVMdev] use of CallInst()
To create a new CallInst I used to call the following constructor:
CallInst(Value *F, const std::vector<Value*> &Par, const std::string
&Name = "", Instruction *InsertBefore = 0);
However, it seems as though that constructor has been removed. I assume
that I'm suppossed to use the following constructor, but I can't figure
out what to pass as the Args parameter

Theora 1.0 final release!
The Xiph.Org Foundation announces the release of Theora 1.0.
Theora is a video codec with a small CPU footprint that offers easy
portability and requires no patent royalties. While the Theora
bitstream format was standardized in 2004 and our beta releases have
been used by millions, this 1.0 release is an important milestone
reflecting the maturity and stability of the Theora codebase.

TCP_NODELAY always set, now?
I know that there was a discussion on this about a year back, and
there is a bug 556 this week that mentions TCP_NODELAY.
However, when I use ssh through a pipe (e.g., to tunnel through an
HTTP proxy using CONNECT) I see:
getsockopt TCP_NODELAY: Socket operation on non-socket
How do I tell which end is generating this (I'm assuming the local
side, which is running through the pipe).
Also,

hi everyone,
actually i want to release an IVR system using PHPAGI API , in this IVR i
want to get value from the user.
I already used get_data defined in phpagi but they are not able to get the
value given by the user and store it in a php variable.
i tested this :
$result = $agi->get_data('beep', 3000, 20);
$keys = $result['result'];
but every time i found in $keys variable

[LLVMdev] Queries regarding function's arguments data type
Hi all,
I am working on my Master's project in security and I am trying to iterate
over the argument list of the function. Basically I need to do following
things :
1. Check data type of each argument of the argument list of the function.
2. Based on its data type like character array or integer array, pointer,
int, char, take different action.
3. I have added following code to check its

It's giving me

[LLVMdev] use of CallInst()
Thanks for the help Reid! I frequently look at the online doxygen, but
sometimes its difficult to determine the correct replacement when a
method is removed from LLVM. In this particular case, I knew which new
CallInst constructor to use, I just couldn't figure out the proper syntax.
At any rate, I really appreciate your help!!

Cannot print PDF-Files...
Hi,
I have a network with a Server running 3.0.14 (Debian sarge), which is
doing quite fine as a PDC and as a printer server (using cups). Almost.
Printing is working, I can print Windows test pages, I can print
from several applications, including MS office. But I cannot print
over the network from Acrobat Reader, not at all. If a network
printer is selected and used, than _nothing_ happens,

How to call directly "dotTcl" C-function of the tcltk-package from the C-code of an external package?
I have a use case with tcltk-package where I need to repeatedly call Tcl/Tk functions
very quickly. For such purpose, the standard R-interface turned out to be too slow, and
better option has been to call package's C-function dotTcl directly from my own C-code.
Before R 4.4.0 it was possible to use getNativeSymbolInfo("dotTcl","tcltk")$address (or
