OpenSSH 2.9p1 on 4.3BSD based system
Dear developpers,
I successfully compiled OpenSSH 2.9p1 which I get via CVS with a
little modification. Patch is available at
http://www.rc.tutrp.tut.ac.jp/~nakaji/install/NEWS/utils/ref/openssh_cvs-news4.diff.gz
But one problem remains.
In config.h.in, there is a definition about strftime function
/* Define if you have the `strftime' function. */
#undef HAVE_STRFTIME

OpenSSH on mips-sony-bsd
Dear developpers,
I have some problem with the latest openssh available via CVS. The target
host is detected as mips-sony-bsd, SONY NEWS-OS 4.2.1R, which is an old
type OS based on 4.3BSD.
At first, this system has VSTATUS defined but no _POSIX_VDISABLE which
both are used in openbsd-compat/readpassphrase.c.
Second, some header files on this OS do not include <sys/types.h> and it

`_POSIX_VDISABLE' undeclared
Dear developpers,
I'm using OpenSSH_2.9p1 with prngd on my Sony NEWS-OS 4.2.1R.
NEWS-OS 4.x is based on 4.3BSD and lack of many POSIX and ANSI features.
Today I tried to make the latest openssh_cvs and got the following error,
gcc -g -O2 -Wall -O -I. -I.. -I. -I./.. -I/usr/local/ssl/include -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -c readpassphrase.c

connect to bass.directhit.com(65.214.36.12):2401 failed: Connection refused
Hi,
According to http://www.openssh.com/portable.html, I tried to update my
openssh_cvs tree by CVS. And got an error.
$ cvs update -dP
cvs [update aborted]: connect to bass.directhit.com(65.214.36.12):2401 failed: Connection refused
Why? And from which cvs pserver can I get the latest openssh-portable?
Thanks.

Configuring custom library
Hi,
I''ve added a custom library called lib\AccountSystem like so:
"module AccountSystem
SINGLE = 1
MULTIPLE = 2
class << self
attr_accessor :account_system_type
end
end"
Now I wanna configure
AccountSystem.account_system_type=AccountSystem::SINGLE in one app. I
used an initializer: config/initializers/account_initialization.rb
where I put this line in.

survival::survfit,plot.survfit
I am confused when trying the function survfit.
my question is: what does the survival curve given by plot.survfit mean?
is it the survival curve with different covariates at different points?
or just the baseline survival curve?
for example, I run the following code and get the survival curve
####
library(survival)
fit<-coxph(Surv(futime,fustat)~resid.ds+rx+ecog.ps,data=ovarian)

RTCP How to stop
Dear all;
I want to stop RTCP from Asterisk-server to phone.
But I want to use RTP.
I looked rtp.conf/sip.conf, but I can't know about it.
Please tell me how to stop RTCP only.
Because , when I access under NAT, my gateway shutdown the port as gateway received RTCP from server.
I use Asterisk 1.6.2.6 or 1.4.29 .
Also SIP/RTP.
thx.

Sony LIB-81 & Bacula on CentOS?
I'm wondering if anybody has any experience running bacula with a Sony
LIB-81 tape library preferably on CentOS?
A bit more specifically I'm looking at either a LIB-81/A4 or a LIB-81/A5
and switching to bacula because we are starting to need something more
robust than simple tar/dump for backups.
Thanks for any input.

memdisk on sony vaio (phoenix bios)
hello,
I'm a happy Syslinux user.
I've been learning how to package floppy images to boot from USB flash.
The USB devices seem to work on a huge variety of platforms, especially AMI bios machines.
All the new DELL Inspiron notebooks work flawlessly, happily booting my USB Syslinux setups.
Along comes a new Sony Vaio (VGN-FZ140E) with a Phoenix bios and none of the memdisk floppy images

Sony Station Launcher - no text
When I start the Sony Station Launcher I get a blank grey window with no
text or buttons. The appdb says it requires vcrun2005sp1 and to use
winetricks to install that. Trying that for either vcrun2005sp1 or just
vcrun2005 gives an error:
