need help with compiling openssh
hi,
I'm trying to compile OpenSSH, latest version on my Linux box.
I know that it requires openssl and I've installed the 0.9.5a and it's
working just fine.
Now when I'm trying to ./configure the openssh with the options
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bin/openssh/ --without-pam --without-shadow
--with-tcp-wrappers
It's giving me

Improper (?) OpenSSL version mismatch(was RE: OpenSSH_2.5.1p1 - RH 6.2)
Well, I've finally gotten around to compiling
and testing OpenSSH 2.5.2p1, in order to update
the contrib/solaris packaging scripts.
Somehow on my test system, I'm getting errors
that indicate that I've still got some old copy
of OpenSSL being found somewhere...but I can't
for the life of me tell where. The compile went
fine (it found the OpenSSL 0.9.5a libraries that

Installing SOGo on Centos 5
Hello,
I was following directions at:
http://www.sogo.nu/english/support/faq/article/how-to-install-sogo-and-sope-through-yum-1.html
to install SOGo on CentOS 5.9 and, noticing that among the dependencies
is memcached and rpmforge includes a much more recent version than EPEL,
I preferred rpmforge and therefore I set a higher priority for rpmforge
repo (see below).

I thought some of you might be amused by this.
In my non-work time, I'm an avid weaver and teacher of weaving. I'm
working on a project involving creating many detailed weaving
patterns, so I wrote R code to automate it.

Re: POP secure access?? {result}
Hi All,
First I would like to thank all who gave me pointers on where to look
for the applications. There are also some of you who wanted me to
post my findings. Hence I have decided to post a mini how-to.
I actually ran a sniffer on it, and all messages are encrypted. :)
If there's any prob, just drop me a line.
Rgrds,
Wong.

SSL!
Hello!
I'm still trying to configure samba with SSL. The operating system is Suse
Linux 6.4, samba version 2.0.7. Without ssl, it works well.
I installed SSLeay and got no error messages. After installing it, I
configured samba with ssl option and no error messages. When I tried to test
my configuration file with testparm, I have the following:

Issue with Perl and rpmforge - advice?
I have an old version of rkhunter installed on my CentOS 5 machine,

There's a problem that several people who installed OpenSSL to be able

NT_STATUS_TRUSTED_RELATIONSHIP_FAILURE with Server 2008R2
I am having problems implementing Samba using security=domain against a
Windows 2008R2 server.
I have been able to successfully join the domain via a net rpc join.
Anytime I try to access a share through smbclient I get a
NT_STATUS_TRUSTED_RELATIONSHIP_FAILURE but nothing in the logs (on
either side) seems to be giving me any leads on where to look. The
system is locked down to allow NTLv2

More NetBSD patches
Here's a unified diff, proposed by Christos Zoulas (with a little
reworking to get the configure.in part a bit cleaner). The main target of
the patches are NetBSD compatability, although there are some changes
making
if (pointer X)
into
if (X != NULL)
as well. Christos also proposed a change to Makefile.in, but I'll send
that as a seperate mail.
Thanks,
David

[Patch] Improve diags for "OpenSSL headers match library" configure test
Hello All,
After seeing what is probably the zillionth "OpenSSL headers don't
match library" bug report I made the following mod to configure.ac. It
always writes the versions of the library and headers to config.log and
prints them to stdout if they don't match.
Hopefully this will help diagnose these problems in future. Example
output below.

$ ./configure

Hi,
I'm getting the:

SSLeay / OpenSSL libraries, please install
despite Freebsd coming with openssl in the base system. I have tried
various settings using --with-ssl-dir and still haven't had any luck. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

openssh-1.2.1pre24 on SCO
Yo All!
Sorry if this is obvious but I am new to openssh. I have used the
original ssh for a while and am familiar with it (and it's
restrictive license).
I am trying to port openssh-1.2.1pre24 on to SCO UnixWare 7.1.0. I
will post the small patches when it is really running.
Two problems, SCO has no /dev/random so I installed egd-0.6. It
usually works but sometimes dies. I have sent

OpenSSH 1.2.3 Configure
It's *very* late here (or very early, depending on how you look at it), so
please forgive me if this is incoherent. I thought I'd put this out there
and perhaps save a few people some frustration.
The configure script is much improved, but I still had problems with the
OpenSSL detection. Had to tweak it a bit:
*** configure-1.2.3pre1 Sat Mar 11 03:29:00 2000
--- configure Sat Mar 11
