I have just uploaded 1.2.1pre18.
This is mainly merges from the OpenBSD tree, bugfixes for Solaris

snprintf problems on some older Solaris versions.
Please test thoroughly, my hope is to have a stable version
released before Jan 1. At this point the main holdup is Solaris.

Please tell me where I can ask questions on ssh's use.
I installed openssh on two Linux boxes, one is RedHat 6.0 the other is
RedHat 6.1. I used the rpms at

I used the us versions, and I touched no config files whatsoever.

W2K problems
Hi,
I am in dire need of some help. I have no problems connecting to shares
with my W95/98 clients, but big problems with W2K.
The same username / password is used on both the PC and SAMBA (and NIS -
I am using Soalris 2.7 for my SAMBA server). When I try to connect to a share
from the W2K client, I get the message "Access Denied".
I have looked set nmbd / smbd to run at debug level 9

ape -- internal nodes and pie charts
Hi,
I've been investigating the ape package for a while, and I was
wondering if it is possible to:
- display the names of the internal nodes (from a newick tree)
- plot a pie-chart on top of each of the internal branches in a phylogram plot
Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Albert.

letting the opsys determine what access a user has to a file. I do not know
if this is deliberate or not and it has pros and cons with respect to
security.
I solved the 'problem' by changing the group id on smb.conf to 10 (wheel on
Linux, staff on Soalris) and changing the permissions to 660. Since only
admins have wheel as their primary group, this restricts access to people

Status of SSH 2.0 protocol support?
Just to bring everyone up to date, could we get a report on the status
of support for the 2.x protocol? The home page says "next major release"
- is that 1.3 or 2.0? And is there any feel for when it'll be generally
available?
