Virtual resources and require...
Is it possible to have a require line in a virtual resource when the required
resource is itself a virtual resource?
Specifically, it would be great if the following worked:
@file { usr_local:
path => "/usr/local",
mode => 0755,
owner => root,
group => root,
ensure => directory
}
@file { usr_local_bin:

limiting options in file_upload
Does anyone know if it''s possible to set constraints to the size & type of file that file_column will accept?
I''d like to limit to image files of less than 2MB.
If this isn''t possible with file_column, is there a graceful way of getting the controller to handle it?
thanks

free sun boxes
I have 4 sparc based sun boxes I am about to pay money so I can
get rid of them. They are running older versions of Solaris.
You should be able to load Solaris 10 and play around with *
on them.
Time to clean the office:

I also have a box full of Sun keyboards and mice.
Contact me offline if you want them.

Problem compiling 2.2.5
I'm trying to upgrade a very old sparcstation running Solaris 8 which
is running dovecot 1.x for few users. All I have for the task is good
old gcc 2.95.2. The poor sod complains because it can't compute the
sizeof(unsigned char prefix_text[]) at line 13 of log-error-buffer.c.
Can I help it by - say - putting a constant between the '[]'?
Or is it unfair? :-)
I don't think

Using Samba 2.2.8a with Microsoft Cluster Services
Hello all-
First time posting to group in 3.5 years of using Samba ;)
I have a particularily odd problem that the folks over at
sql-server-performance.com forums have never seen nor heard of... I am
setting up an W2kAS/SQL2k active/passive cluster using Cluster Services.
The MSCS requires a common domain login for installing and configuring
MSCS which I have setup on my Samba 2.2.8a PDC

[LLVMdev] is anyone using the sparc backend?
Chris,

We can not let it die and I volunteer to keep the Sparc alive!
My SPARCstation pizzaboxes can be ready for action in a day or two.

Hello everybody,
I have been developing small applications in Rails from quite some time.
But lately, I came across a bug which I have not been able to correct.
If anybody could help me with it, would be of great help thankyou.
Actually, the problem is that I have a form in my application with some
set of fields.
Now what "validates_presence_of" should do is that if I submit the form

Virus checker gets error "Network Name was deleted" ?
hi,
Has anyone encountered problems running virus checkers on NT4+sp3
clients against Samba served drives ? We recently upgraded
a samba server to 1.9.18p10 and now have an intermittent problem
where during the scan of Samba drive the virus check flakes out
with the error;

I'm told that the server still appears to be browsable after this
error, and the

Zaptel tone description
Lilantha, the tones are supposed to be switched using the loadzone and
defaultzone lines in /etc/zaptel.conf , and, progzone in
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf.
The information about countries and frequencies/times are at
zonedata.c located in the sourcecode of zaptel. As you may know,
changing zonedata.c information requires a re-compilation of the zaptel
module.
Hope it helps,
