RE: Mediacast1 yp dir update
The ice-* headers are the standard protocol for connecting to icecast2, the trouble is making all source clients adhere to the standard. The option is to be very militant about it, and basically deny any source clients that do not connect with the ice-* headers , but we chose the more compatable route...although there is a limit to this compatability....I would strongly urge darkice to use

I'm not sure where to put in my $.02 on this, but I think the best thing to do is pick a different name; I like "fresh". my $.02 of course, Mark

Bug 1806
Hi all, I''m trying to get new tracker items to automatically send an email to this list, so I may run a couple of tests this week. You can ignore them. Heesob, can you please take a look at Bug 1806? I''m not sure if it''s possible or not, but it seems like a reasonable idea if it is. Regards, Dan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? luks ecrypted storage poll - lvm - possible?
hi everyone, do we get to encrypt lvm pools in/with libvirt? I'm on Centos 7.x but see mention of it, not even on the net. Or in other words - can guests(lxc I'm thinking of) run off ecrypted lvm where at least the part when dev gets luksOpened is taken care of by libvirt? many thanks, L.

Sluething
My Samba Server had a wild time this weekend thanks to alleged power fluctuations. I'm using Samba 3.x on Fedora 4. My server sits on an APC UPS that remains in good health. When I arrived this Monday I found that my MicroTik Router was still up. My Win XP pro AV server was off and my Fedora/SAMBA box was also off. (all boxes have their own 15min UPS) The Win XP pro was brought up w/out

I have no idea which libvirt version is in Centos versions, but support was added in libvirt 3.9.0 (Nov. 2017) via commit 2518fd3b6a with a followup commit 9b837963 for libvirt

potential bug in simulate.lm when gaussian(link != "identity")
Dear all, I think that there is a bug in the function simulate.lm() when called upon a glm fitted with gaussian family with a link other than identity. The variance of the simulated response is clearly off and an inspection to the code of simulate.lm reveals that it is because the variance is divided by the model weights (precisely, not the prior ones), which is not documented. Can somebody file

in place text edit
I''ve written a pretty nice Flickr style in place text edit JavaScript control based on the Script.aculo.us library. API is like this: <span id="editme">Edit me!</span> <script> new InPlaceEditor($(''editme''), ''url/to/action''); </script> Background changes to gray as mouse hovers over the text (like flickr) and the

Hi, I want to do plain auth against my password file. However it has been difficult to find a proper docs and all i have found reuqieres recompiling or patching. I am not interested in ecrypted communication with a certificate. Just plain auth. My mailserver should allow some users that will be traveling to send mail using our server and we don't know what IP address they will have. thanks,

Problem accessing protected resources from any platform
Hi, Here is my problem: I set up Samba v2.2.8a on a linux host (RedHat Linux 8.0) for my workgroup. My other hosts in the workgroup are Windows 2000 and Windows XP hosts and a 3COM firewall. All directories that are not "protected" can be accessed by all users. The workgroup uses encrypted passwords (using non ecrypted passwords does not solve the problem). Samba is configured to

Buildbot Noise
Folks, David has been particularly militant with broken buildbots recently, so to make sure we don't throw the baby with the bath water, I'd like to propose some changes on how we deal with the emails on our *current* buildmaster, since there's no concrete plans to move it to anything else at the moment. The main issue is that managing the buildbots is not a simple task. It requires

A potential error in opus-1.1.3
Hi, I downloaded the source code of opus-1.1.3.tar.gz, and statically analyzed the code by a static analysis tool. Many potential false alarms are reported. I checked manually and selected a potential error which is described as follow. Could you please check it? In file ‘src/opus_encoder.c’, function ‘opus_encode_native’, the piece of code is: … Line 1802: if (frame_size == 2*st->Fs/25)
