rails 4 logging during development, surpress asset messages?
Is it possible to surpress all those asset related messages?
I have a terminal open where I run ''rails s'' and it gets hard to read.

I am trying to plot two sets of boxplots together. These are estimates of two
experiments and?seven?factors.
The results of the two experiments I want to plot as boxplots stacked to each
other.
Therefore I plot first the results of the first experiment; and next with the
add option the second set of boxplots.

surpress dial tone on TDM400p
i've already tried to change the indications.conf to the following:
dial = 0/1500
but the dial tone still persists
i am using the following workaround but obviously not a clean
b'cos it just replace dial tone with some other tone.

Surpress one panel in lattice plot..?
Dear list,
I have a two character vector with two different values in them (two
each, that is). Naturally, when I use these vectors as grouping
factors in a lattice plot, I get four panels.
Now, one of the possible four combinations will never have data, so
one panel will always be empty. So now my question is: can I force R /
Lattice not to print it, and give me only the 3 filled panels?

Trouble connecting to Samba shares set up under FC6
Hi list,
Having a problem connecting to a Samba server under Fedora Core 6. Every
time I try to connect, even from localhost, I get the message
NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME.
Samba config was done in the Redhat samba configuration tool (gnome).
I can connect with smbclient -L illuminatus -U <username> and get a list of
the shares. However when I try to connect with smbclient -U

rsync --rsh not reading .ssh/config
I've setup up a single-use key on a remote host to run rsync in server
mode. I've also setup .ssh/config locally with an IdentityFile to
select the single-use ssh key.
This works on my Debian sid machine:
rsync --rsh="ssh remove_host" ::
But on another machine that command (and others tried below) do not
access .ssh/config. The machine is running these:

astcc with multiple access
I'm looking at astcc and it seems that setting up a script that will
allow multiple people to access a calling card simultaneously would be
fairly difficult. Before I endevour to develop this, has anyone already
done it/looked at this/can point me in the right direction?

backup incrementals on mysql
Hi all.
I usally make backups of databases mysql.
I make buckups of all datbase for example:
mysqldump -u user -ppassword name_db > backups.sql
also I make backups just its schema for example
mysqldump -u user -ppassword name_db --no-data > backups.sql
but now I need a backups incrementals, because the size of DB is very big
(500 mb)
How to make this?

best ways to do mysql backup
we have multiple servers approx 10 and each has about 100 GB of data in
the /var/lib/mysql dir , excluding tar , mysqldump and replication how do we
take backup for these databases on to a remote machine and store them
datewise , ( the remote machine is a 2TB HDD )
currently tar is not feasible as the data is too huge and the same goes
with mysqldump
suggestion will be of great help

Bizarre Echo Problem
Before I relate the actual problem, some context.
Callcentre environment, a few users testing a new digital dialer...
1. Agents are using Grandstream ATA HT486 and a small analogue dialpad with
a headset.
2. SIP connection to Asterisk-1.2b1
3. IAX2 connection to ITSP provider.
The call is initially set up in the following way.

MYSql (possibly) crashing server
About 10 days ago my debian server started crashing quite regularly.
Aparently it was crashing when cron was attempting to run mysqldump.
I was not 100% sure that this was the cause, but it looked mysql related.
The really bad part was that some tables needed repair, and that was not a
very pleasant thing, since some data was lost in the process.
After the server rebooted 3 nights in a row, I have

Restoring blob fileds in Mysql
Not really a rails question but someone on here may be able to help..
I have been backing up a MySQL database for a Rails app for several
years with the command: mysqldump myDatabaseName -u root >
myBackupFile.sql
The backups have appeared to work fine...
I then wanted to restore one of the backups to a different named
database so I did: mysql myNewDatabaseName -u root < myBackupFile.sql

Can't seem to export MySQLDump and then import MySQLImport?
I''ve got my applications running on a server that backs up every hour
using MySQLdump.
My goal is to take this ''dump'' and re-import it into my desktop
computer using MySQLAdministrator.
