IPv6 broken under AIX?
I've tried to get OpenSSH_3.7.1p2 to work over IPv6 under AIX 5.1.0 and 5.2.0 without success. If I configure sshd to listen to an IPv6 address it will take the uppermost 32 bits of the IPv6 address and interpret it as an IPv4 address. sshd_config: ------------ ListenAddress [2001:6b0:b:1::133] ListenAddress 130.238.4.133 ListenAddress 172.17.1.2 $ /usr/nbin/sshd -d -d -d debug2:

User executional bit set when creating/modifying file on linux server from linux client
Whenever I create or modify a file on my cifs-mount, be it by `echo "test" >> file` or from bash, the file mode is changed with u+x. However, that does not happen with touch, and usign chmod u-x works as it should. This is very annoying... It is a linux samba server running samba 3.0.24. I know it's not the latest, and if you know there was a bug fixed that can solve my

[LLVMdev] Function pointers
OK, I solved it all ( so far :) ), mixing in some load-instructions and called on the result of that, which worked. Here is the skeleton-code: %kernel = type { int ()* } int puts_kernel(){...} ; main() %theKernel = malloc %kernel %puts_kernelPTR = getelementptr %kernel* %theKernel, long 1, ubyte 0 store int ()* %puts_kernel, int ()** %puts_kernelPTR %tmp.11 = load int ()** %puts_kernelPTR

degraded performance under domain login load
Hi guys, Not sure how to diagnose this problem however i have recently upgraded one of my schools sites from gentoo to freebsd which moved us from samba 3.0.14 to 3.0.21b and the first thing I noticed was when the students came to login if they all logged in at once the performance of login was crippled to a near standstill! As a test i swapped in the gentoo box and forced the upgrade to

Samba 2.2.7 as PDC causing BSOD on 2K domain logon
Hello, Have wrestled this one for about a week, now, getting frustrated ;-) Running samba as PDC for my domain (cf. smb.conf further down) When logging in on my 2K Pro machine, I first get a "can't find roaming profile, attempting local profile"-error, but logon using my user's smb account accepts only the correct password and so the identification part works well. Next,

[LLVMdev] Function pointers
Hello out there! I am trying to build a table of 2 function poiters by using an array: %kernel = alloca [ 2 x int ()* ] I try to access the first pointer to be able to store location of my first function like this: %function_pointer_1 = getelementptr [2 x int ()* ]* %kernel, long 0, long 0 store int ()* %function_1, int ()* %function_pointer_1 But, I get the error message from llvm-asm:

[LLVMdev] Question regarding the alias analysis chaining behaviour
Hi, I am using LLVM 2.4 on a Linux RHEL5 machine. I was trying to figure out how the chaining of the alias analysis passes works in LLVM. Here are the command I used to test the chaining part. 1. ./opt hello_world_1_nest_func.bc -o hello_world_1_nest_func_AA.bc -no-aa -anders-aa -licm Result: Anderson's AA and No Alias Analysis both are called. 2. ./opt hello_world_1_nest_func.bc -o

Can't see shares...
I can't figure out what's wrong with my config, I can see the share \\beata\anders, but not store0 or store1; # smb.conf is the main Samba configuration file. You find a full commented # version at /usr/share/doc/packages/samba/examples/smb.conf.SUSE if the # samba-doc package is installed. # Date: 2011-03-01 [global] workgroup = NORRBRING passdb backend = tdbsam

Request: please test modification to EWS calendar functionality
I have expanded the EWS calendar functionality within Asterisk 1.8 so it is now possible to access any calendar within an Exchange 2007 or 2010 server. I have put the changes onto the reviewboard for astrisk but currently no one responded. So if you use the EWS calendar functionality within Asterisk and would like to have access to any calendar in Exchange please try the patch in the

aov problem
I am using R to make two-way ANOVA on a number of variables using g <- aov(var ~ fact1*fact2) where var is a matrix containing the variables. However the outcome seem to be dependent on the order of fact1 and fact2 (i.e. fact2*fact1) gives a slightly (factor of 1.5) different result. Any ideas why this is? Thanks for any help Anders

NA erase your data trick
Oops, I just erased all my data using this gizmo that I thought would replace -9 with NA. A) Can I get my tcn5 back? B) How do I do it right next time, I learned my lesson, I'll never do it again, I promise! Anders Corr > for(i in 1:dim(tcn5)[2]){ ##for the number of columns + for(n in 1:dim(tcn5)[1]){ ##for the number of rows + tcn5[is.na(tcn5[n,i]) | tcn5[n,i]

uploading client printer drivers broken ?
Hi guys, I am at a loss with this feature of samba in that it is soo hit or miss if the client drivers will upload or not depending on samba version used. Can someone confirm that this feature does indeed work in the latest samba release? i have tried many setups be it ldap or tdbsam, made sure all more groupmappings are correct, folders and permissions are correct, etc, Yet when i go

Yes! :-) What would I do without you folks?! I am the one trying to build a Ruby compiler prototype, so be prepared for more questions...:) Thanks again! Puppetrun denied by puppetd
Hi, I have a Gentoo server running puppetmasterd from Puppet 0.24.1 and a Ubuntu server running puppetd from Puppet 0.23.2. I have added listen=true to the [puppetd] section on the client and run puppetd --debug. I then run puppetrun --debug --host hostname on the puppetmaster server. This is the output I get: Puppetmaster: # puppetrun --debug --host hostname Failed to load ruby LDAP library.
