Mirror site ftp.plig.org out of date
The mirror site ftp.plig.org is out of date, for example
<ftp://ftp.plig.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/snapshot/> stops in
2005-03-07 while the same directory on the master site has recent
files.
I don't know whether this outdatedness applies only to the Portable
OpenSSH snapshots or to the whole OpenBSD tree.

VisualHostKey vs. RekeyLimit vs. VerifyHostKeyDNS
Hello list, I'm not sure whether this is bug worthy or just my own
insanity. I'm using 6.4p1 packages from Debian jessie and
wheezy-backports.
I like VisualHostKey, although it may not add any protection (other than
not trusting ones own known_hosts file?), I've become accustomed to it
as it seems that extra neurons fire when I log into a host and get a
visual cue of what looks like

specific Host not overriding global Host
My config file contains
Host *
VisualHostKey yes
Host app
VisualHostKey no
however when I ssh into app I still see the VisualHostKey.
It is my understanding that the more specific host should override the
global defaults. When I asked on IRC they told me to report the issue
to this mailing list.
I know my version of OpenSSH is old, but I checked bugzilla and did
not see any bug reports about

choice of fingerprint display upon new host access
When a user encounters a new ssh host, the VisualHostKey option makes
ssh display the visual fingerprint of the host's key.
ssh-keygen also supports BubbleBabble fingerprinting, but i don't see a
way to indicate that ssh should display the bubblebabble fingerprint
upon encountering a new host key.
It seems like it would be nice to make OpenSSH configurable about its

dynamic PBR, actions, docs and getting it all straight
Hi,
Fair warning this may be a bit rambling, and is
definitely a bit long.
I am trying to prototype a system for doing dynamic
policy-based routing (source address dependent based
on reverse routes from BGP or other dynamic routing
protocols.) We need to do this due to a cacophony
of factors I won''t get into.
To do so the general plan is to store dynamic routes in
their own table,

Random Art Size
Dear openssh team, thanks for all your great work!
I just recently discovered random art and I think it's brilliant! My VisualHostKey flag is set.
It does take up a fair amount of terminal real estate, though. Would it be possible to rotate the rectangle to be horizontal so it takes up less vertical space?
e.g.

PATCH: multiple BindAddress
Hello all,
I recently have a problem with multiple addresses and address
families. Problem is simple, i have some hosts with IPv4 access only
and some with IPv6 access. This wouldn't be big problem if I had a
stable IP addresses. But sometimes I move to another network with
complete different addresses. So I created patch which on option
BindAddress accept list of addresses. With ip I solved

about the generalized linear models
Hello,
I'm writng this message to see if anyone knows how to analyze a data with
geometrically distributed outcome.
My situation now is : I have a outcome which is geometrically distributed. And
I've also self-derived the link function for geometric distribution. I want to
use generalized linear models to analyze it, but there're only models for
binary data, poisson distributed
