I don't understand - surely the limits should be applied in the *child*

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=201341
As I said above I think that the only correct solution which would
solve all cases (privsep yes/no, root/regular user) would be to add
another fork before the

TFTP issue
Hello list,
pxelinux is stuck in the following place:
PXELINUX 2.11 0x4321babe

My IP address seems to be AC1300FE 172.19.0.254
ip=172.19.0.254:0.0.0.0:172.19.0.1:255.255.255.0
TFTP prefix:
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/01-00-0c-29-49-49-c9
(waits here for a while before proceeding to...)
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/AC1300FE
tcpdump shows me:

[PATCH] Makefile: CFLAGS, LDFLAGS
Split CFLAGS into CFLAGS (user part) and AM_CFLAGS (not-so-user part;
variable name taken from automake, but otherwise no relation).
Also add LDFLAGS.
This allows me to use `make CFLAGS="-O2 -fPIE" LDFLAGS="-pie"` without
dropping the other important (AM_CFLAGS) flags.

Paravirt compile failure with gcc33
Hi,
As I was compile-testing 2.6.33-rc with gcc-3.3,
binutils-2.19.51-10.26.4.x86_64, I observed a failure when
CONFIG_PARAVIRT is turned on:
[any file]
/home/jengelh/code/linux/arch/x86/include/asm/paravirt.h: In function
`rif_seq_stop':
/home/jengelh/code/linux/arch/x86/include/asm/paravirt.h:763: warning:

[Bug 665] Can't start error opening /var/log/ ...

Because I can't know what the user would like to log, s/he still has to define
his/her own ulogd logging stack (as it is called).

actually a usable assumption for
