race condition with ControlMaster=auto
There is a race in the setup of the ControlMaster socket in auto mode, as illustrated by the following command line: ssh -oControlMaster=auto -oControlPath=sock localhost 'sleep 1; echo 1' & ssh -oControlMaster=auto -oControlPath=sock localhost 'sleep 2; echo 2' & Both of the commands will try to start up as a control client, find that sock does not exist, and switch into

RAID[56] status
If we''ve abandoned the idea of putting the number of redundant blocks into the top bits of the type bitmask (and I hope we have), then we''re fairly much there. Current code is at: git://, http://git.infradead.org/users/dwmw2/btrfs-raid56.git git://, http://git.infradead.org/users/dwmw2/btrfs-progs-raid56.git We have recovery working, as well as both full-stripe writes

ControlPersist and multiple X11 forwarding.
Three patches attached. One implements a 'ControlPersist' option, which when used with 'ControlMaster auto' or 'ControlMaster 'yes' make makes the master background itself and stick around after its own primary session is completed. The second causes control clients to pass X11 display, auth proto and auth data over the control socket so that appropriate X11

[LLVMdev] 16-bit x86 status update
Here's a brief update on the current state of 16-bit x86 support... The assembler has support for the .code16 directive and can happily output 16-bit code. In pending patches¹ I have also added an i386-*-*-code16 triple and fixed the disassembler to support 16-bit mode (which was previously present, but could not be invoked and was fairly broken). And added a '-m16' option to clang.

Much of it seems fixed already; what's left to fix? The segment prefix override? Does that mean we get to fix disassembly of '0x65 0xa4' while we're at it? (Although we can't even

ControlPersist.
This is a better approach to persistent control masters than my previous attempt. Instead of forking before we make the connection, do so only when the original session has closed -- much like the code for '~&' backgrounding already does. My earlier patch for 'ControlPath none' still applies and is required, btw. --- openssh/clientloop.c~ 2005-06-17 03:59:35.000000000 +0100
