pasting the expected host key will result in appropriate testing, as well as
providing some sort of error if the remote side *doesn't* match the key pasted
in.
I hadn't thought of cut

Does this need to go to OpenBSD? It doesn't seem to occur on OpenBSD, but I
don't know if it's just because the dice haven't landed right or something with
the tty semantics (or process scheduling?) causes it to not

ChallengeResponseAuthentication defaults to no?
Hello,
I have just installed OpenSSH 4.6p1 and it appears that ChallengeResponseAuthentication is not allowed unless I explicitly set it to "yes" in the sshd_config file. I am using the same config file as I did with 4.5p1 where it was allowed by default. Also, this is OpenSSH package from sunfreeware, but I believe that both versions were compiled with the same options.

Feature request: FQDN Host match
Hello!
I'm hoping that Gmail won't HTML format this mail so that I'll get flamed :)
Anyway, my question relates to ssh_config. The problem I find is that
the Host pattern is only applied to the argument given on the command
line, as outlined in the man page:

New sshd_config - what has changed?
I see that there is a new sshd_config in the latest updates.
Since I have altered the original file, this one got installed as .rpmnew
It has two changes:
> #AddressFamily any
So does this make it default to IPv4 only?
> #ChrootDirectory none
Chroot is now an option for SSH?

xen gui with argo
Hi all,
I have made an ebuild for Steve''s argo xen-tools (v0.6),
if any interest I will put it online.
I am also experimenting by expanding argo to have remote
console access (with a AJAX we interface) so far it''s
not perfect but I am getting the console.
cheers
