Host Key verification issue
Hello,
I have script that I run remotely on a server, using ssh config with a 'command' call in the authorized keys file. I can successfully run this from one of my servers, but when I try from 2 other machines, I receive a Host Key Verification Failed error.

OpenSSH_4.7p1, OpenSSL 0.9.8g Host Key Verification Failed
Greetings,
I am trying to cross compile OpenSSH 4.7 for ppc with QNX Neutrino as my OS.
I have a workstation with QNX on it (x86) and I have linked the utils used
by autoconf to their ppc versions. I have been able to successfully build
sshd/ssh. I copy the binaries built on the x86 to the ppc, and sshd works
great. I can ssh from any machine to it, but when I try to ssh from the ppc
machine to

Regarding SSH_ASKPASS
I've been giving SSH_ASKPASS a hard look, and it's not clear to
me how it's supposed to work. The documentation (ssh.1) seems
explicit enough:
SSH_ASKPASS
If ssh needs a passphrase, it will read the passphrase from the
current terminal if it was run from a terminal. If ssh does not
have a terminal associated with it but DISPLAY and SSH_ASKPASS
are set, it will execute

Accessing SSH key path using SSH_ASKPASS and passwordstore
Hello,
With the introduction of SSH_ASKPASS_REQUIRE in version 8.4, I've set
up a script for SSH_ASKPASS to query my local passwordstore
(https://www.passwordstore.org/) vault to retrieve the password for a
given key. This works for ssh-add as well as ssh (configured with
AddKeysToAgent set to 'yes'). My workflow effectively transforms into
entering the password for the GPG key used

SSH_ASKPASS behavior change proposal
Hello, OpenSSH Developers!
I'm not a member of the OpenSSH development team or a member of this
mailing list. I have a small change to propose for OpenSSH and since
the mailing list page at openssh.com indicated the general discussion
list is for support, I thought this list would be a better place to
discuss this. Please forgive me if I've committed a faux pas.
I propose that the

Question on SSH_ASKPASS
Hi everybody,
I have asked a question a long time ago regarding SSH_ASKPASS, but with the
latest version of OpenSSH I am not able to get the desired result.
My goal is to launch a script on a remote server via SSH without having to
type a password, because it is locally executed from a script. This should
not be too complicated, but somehow I am not able to figure this out myself.
I have

hm, i think about adding
ManglePort=yes
to the options. This option will create Hostkeyaliases on
the fly if the port is != 22, and use
'foor.bar.com at portXXX'
as an alias.
