Best way to add/update an installation
In an effort to prevent getting many minutes into an installation only
to have a CD read fail (I did verify the CD's first), I did a minimal
install. Can I use the minimal install to add the necessay packages for
a HTTP server and graphical interface?

The UFW has been disabled and selinux is in a disbaled state
/etc/bind/named.conf.options has

finding yap.exe with Sweave
Dear all:
Just to make sure I am on the same page as everyone else.
I just got a new computer and had to reinstall MikTex and of course R and Tinn-R. In order to be able to generate PDF's with Sweave I had to install notepad++ to tell Sweave where Latex.exe and yap.exe where located under MikTex path. So,I have two questions:
1- Do I need to have a Miktex editor in order to use Sweave? I am

Working with Sweave: inverse search?
The xdvi and yap DVI viewers allow inverse (aka reverse) search: you
click on a location in the output display, and your editor moves to the
corresponding location in the input file. yap at least also allows
forward search, where you can have your editor tell it to location where
a particular input line is displayed.
I would like something like this to work in Sweave files. That is, I

Question about domain name with BIND9_DLZ
Thanks!!
I've restored the server, i've installed all from backports to start in a
clean configuration, and I've tried the suggestions but i've got the same
result. The Windows machine is using the router dhcp server, but dns are
configured manually to use the server as dns.
Anyway I can live with that because I can log using HOME\User and works
fine. Only was curiosity.

MiKTeX/yap/Ghostcript issues with R-generated postscript
Hello,
I wonder if anybody has encountered this problem?
While MiKTeX/yap/Ghostscript seems to work fine on most TeX files that I
have
tested (including a great deal of postscript graphics), there is one
file where the
graphics works ok for all postscript files except one, the only one that
is generated
by R. I get an error "Some postscript specials could not be rendered",

Hello,
The error described in the email title happens in version 9.10 of the bind
that I have installed in our main DC. In face of that, I found the samba
wiki article that talks about this problem.

I made a new installation via source with the suggested options:

this to work. Here is a brief synopsis of my network.
