Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":1".
I get the message below whenever I run virt-manager via a vnc session. Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":1". This error disappears when I take off "-extension RANDR" from the vncserver configuration. Taking this off makes the VNC session too big for my monitor. help. j

Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x20fb)!
Hi all I am trying to make wine load SourceSafe. After long f...ing with truetype fonts and constantly crashing xfs, I moved all my truetype font paths into XF86Config and now wine does not crash during the calculation of font metrics. Thanks to FAQs. Now, on wine startup, after rather long font refresh, I constantly get Xlib error. See subject. What's wrong with my Xlib (from XFree86

LANG=en_US, Xlib: connnection errors
This is odd but I'm trying to get the most elementary sides of WINE down. I have gotten it to attempt to run write.exe out of my windows directory. but upon doing so it comes up with the LANG errors which I don't think is catastrophic. (I might be wrong) and then it comes up with these errors: Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Invalid MIT_MAGIC_COOKIE-1 key

compiling openssh5.8src.rpm looking for Xlib.h
Hello Group, I created a VM with 5.7 Centos DVD-1. My task is to compile openssh5.8p2 (src.rpm downloaded from openssh site.) on the system. It gave some errors about some buildrequires rpm not found. I took care of them. Now it is complaining about > [root at akjain-centos5 SPECS]# rpmbuild -bb openssh.spec > error: Failed build dependencies: > /usr/include/X11/Xlib.h is

you need to create a .m3u file to launch the media player. In this file you should have 'protocol://url:port#/mountpoint' ex: in my 'ices.m3u' I have: http://stream.goingcreative.net:8000/houze <p>Once you are done point your browser to the .m3u file to launch your media player <p><p><p><p> ----- Original Message ----- From: Jose Julian Buda To:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Hello, I''m doing my first steps with Xen and have my first domU up now (Debian/sid under Debian/sid). The main problem I had, was to bring up the graphical desktop of the guest with vnc4server. The solution was simple - but not easy to find for me - so let me share it: Whenever I tried to login on xdm or gdm via xvnc4viewer coming from dom0, I found errors in .xsession-errors of

OT(?): ReverseProxy and URLs
This could be OT. If so, just let me know and I apologize in advance. I mentioned in an earlier email that I have Mongrel setup as a proxy server behind Apache. Rails applications served by Mongrel do not find the CSS file and hence no styles are displayed. In fact, many of the actions are not found.The reason, I believe, is because the URLs for styles and actions typically follow this pattern:

error with libshout
I don't know what's happening there. Thought maybe it was a mp3 file (I've had troubles with certain mp3s). Check your messages log in icecast (you can change the message detail with the console mode I believe). You might be getting a bad password or something on the icecast side and by looking at ices just seeing this error. Could be a bad port# ? Wish I could be of more help.

Good luck with that. Actually I didn't mean log. I meant the icecast console itself. If it's in the right console mode (2?) it will display everything that's happening and any error messages. Seems like the log only shows uptime info by default. Any ol' how, i think i've exhausted my in-depth technical prowess ;-) -----Original Message----- From: owner-icecast@xiph.org

Viewing Rails from non-localhost using WEBrick server
During development, I''d like to see my Rails app from a computer other than localhost on a Linux system and also want to change the default port#. I thought this would do it: Linux server: $ script/server -b 10.4.1.84 -p 5432 => Booting WEBrick... => Rails application started on http://10.4.1.84:5432 => Ctrl-C to shutdown; call with --help for options ...
