JSLint
I tried to run my code through the JSLint website and it errors out on
the lines when I try to use new Ajax.Updater.
'' new Ajax.Updater(''approve_entries'', ''functions.php'',
{ postBody:''action=chan...''
Is this just something I am going to have to deal with, or what?

jslint and carriage returns
Hi, jslint doesn''t seem to like the carriage returns in the mapstraction files.
Is there a way around this? I didn''t see an option for it.

Mapstraction V2 Geocoder?
Hey all,
I''m wondering about your thoughts on upgrading the Geocoder to use
Mapstraction V2. Currently it uses the old syntax (i.e., for
LatLonPoint, etc.):
http://mapstraction.appspot.com/#geocoding
Moving from V1 to V2 is fairly simple changes to the code. However, I
wonder whether we want to update the way the geocoder is structured,
as well? Some options:

[LLVMdev] Question on X86 backend
Thanks Cristoph, I have that code in my backend, but unless I do the following, the registers are never considered 'live' into the call.

the register uses are added by the function

cucumber - when to stub/mock
I''m just curious about this, since my solution involved stubbing a
call to GeoIp.
Is there a good rule of thumb for when you make exceptions to the ''no
stubbing'' philosophy of Cucumber?
My step was: "Given I am accessing the site from Japan," but I can
think of other situations - mostly when interacting with web services,
that I''d probably

Array Confusion
I have the following instruction that returns an array that I'm quite confused about. I can't even read it. Can someone shed some light as to how to reach into this array of hashes (that's what I can see) to get the location lat and lon?
res = Geocoder.search(addy1)
This is the res:

Trying to do a simple thing ...
Hi !
I was talking to a seasider and he asked me if it was easy to do the following
thing using rails :
1) ask a number to the user
2) ask a second number
3) give the addition of the two number and a link to be able to replay
All these things have to be done in one controller and one action, there is no
need for verification and other stuff.
I tried but I''ve got some problems

Need Help Updating Records
This is a stupid question I know, but it is driving me crazy - I am
missing something simple and basic here. I am trying to update missing
zip codes on a data table. I am doing something incorrectly as the data
in the Source table is not being updated, only the value in the array is
changed. How do I get this to update the actual DB record instead?

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
