[PATCH] mboot using module path
Hi,
We are using pxelinux at my company to test our product. And there are
limitations
that we have hit in the past w.r.t. the max length of a path, or the
max length of a module
name (in mboot.c / mboot.c32). We've used workarounds in the past, and
reorganized the
directory structure, but we face that problem again. Out of the 128 /
FILENAME_MAX chars
that can be used, 110 - 120 go to the

Baking Cookies
Hmm... well adding the __export stopped the "undefined symbol" error from showing up when I add "SENDCOOKIES" in the config, however I'm still not seeing any cookies being sent to my webserver.
Any ideas on how to further debug? (if you want to send me the debug compile options privately that's okay too)

Argh! The patch was broken. I missed the new core/path.c file. My bad.

[PATCH 0/5] Deleting __intcall() from Syslinux
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at intel.com>
Since we can't use __intcall() for EFI, and since we can now have the
ELF module code resolve all our symbols at runtime, we should delete
as many references to __intcall() as possible and just access the
symbols directly.
The most interesting patch is the support for weak symbols. We need to
be able to reference derivative-specific

vorbis-tools 1.2.0 Release Candidate
I bumped the version number of vorbis-tools and am preparing it for an
eventual release in a few days.
A changelog of what's new may be found at [1].
Meanwhile, what's in SVN is a "Release Candidate" to find out if
anything was broken since version 1.1.1. Report any (or lack of)
problems you may find, so we'll be able to put out a new version of
vorbis-tools.

How would this solution handle filenames containing spaces? Would we
need to escape (presumably with a backslash)

Now, this_fs means the file system being currently used.
root_fs was created to save the context of the main file system (where ldlinux.sys lives in).

RFC: COMBOOT API directory calls
Currently, I'm looking at implementing 3 COMBOOT API calls for
directories, opendir, readdir, and closedir. In order to track
progress within the directory, I'll need to keep track of the current
sector number that is being read and the offset within the sector for
the next file entry to read. I'm contemplating if I should also keep
track of the starting sector of the directory (in

AIX + ogg123
Has anyone managed to get ogg123 to compile in AIX? I'm got an RS6k with a
PPC 604e, running AIX 4.3.3. I can get libogg, libvorbis, libao, oggenc
(so, everything _but_ ogg123) to compile just fine. I'm using gcc,
thankfully, and not the native IBM compilers. I believe the problem to be
with the linker. By default gcc for AIX doesn't use the GNU linker, but
the standard AIX

[GIT PULL] elflink ldlinux
Hi,
These patches contain support for some features that are already in
Syslinux 4 but weren't working properly on the elflink branch. It's
another step closer to feature parity with Syslinux 4.
Having to jump through the comboot API for localboot support is less
than ideal and I'll eventually fix that, probably when we move a big
chunk of code from asm to C.
Also, there's a
