ElTorito.sys Scanning Strategy
Good day to all.
Since we've adopted Gary Tong's and Bart Lagerweij's ElTorito.sys (now
modified by H. Peter Anvin and tiny changes from myself), I'd appreciate
if anyone with more El Torito experience might criticize my comments
below and advise as to how they might be wrong. Some of it is off-topic
GRUB4DOS detail; safe to ignore.

Thus the rub: The exe seems to have disappeared from winbin as well. It's there, but downloads as a zero-byte file.

Enhanced MDISKCHK.COM and MEMDISK patches
Good day to all,
Gert Hulselmans requested a feature for MDISKCHK.COM that would function
roughly like GETARGS.COM[1] by Murali Krishnan Ganapathy: DOS SET
command output for MEMDISK kernel arguments passed by previous
boot-loaders. He also needed to support the case for
MEMDISK-in-a-MEMDISK type situations, where all MEMDISK kernel arguments
could be gathered together and output as a list

Greetings, all...
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've set up a Linux PXE host with a menu choice to install Windows. This option boots a WinPE image, which then uses \\net use... to mount the appropriate ISO image. Works fine. However, I would like to pass the iso name and directory into WinPE from the menu via append= arguments. Thus, I can set up a separate menu option

MEMDISK, MDISKCHK.COM
Just a slight poke regarding the MEMDISK and MDISKCHK.COM possibilities
available here[1]. Review by non-hpas is welcome, too. Thanks! - Shao

Baaaaah, phooey! Yeah, get two e-mail clients like I have: Mozilla
Thunderbird for Geert and Microsoft Outlook for everyone else I frequently
correspond with, who don't want to scroll just to read what's new. Some
things just aren't universal, even if one thinks they should be. What a
world. - Shao

6.03-pre6 minor building suggestions
In Syslinux 6.03-pre6:
_ The txt/html/*.html files are currently created 3 times, one for
each firmware. I think they should be created only once (under the
main txt/html/ directory), just as the rest of the documentation is.
In that case, the <respective_firmware>/txt/html/ subdirectories
should not even be created.
_ The bios/dosutil/ directory contains copybs.com and eltorito.sys,

nopassany parameter causing trouble
I'm running into an issue which I didn't expect to encounter.
When specifying the "nopassany" parameter to hide physical drives, I'm
getting different output from ELTORITO.SYS (v1.5, syslinux distro) such
that it fails.
My intent is a LiveCD functionality with a DOS RAMDISK program taking
over as drive C:, meaning either no FAT partitions on harddisks and
removable disks

libinstaller, mtools, win32 Installer Changes
Three commits at my "for_hpa" branch (not derived from any old for_hpa
branch you might have). Briefs are below. I'm still working on the DOS
installer. - Shao
