Hi, I need help to install a newer version of pxelinux to /tftpboot on a RHEL4.4 server. # uname -a Linux bjlnx07 2.6.9-42.ELhugemem #1 SMP Wed Jul 12 23:36:53 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Currently I have this version # rpm -q syslinux syslinux-3.11-4 - I've downloaded syslinux-3.86-1.i386.rpm and syslinux-tftpboot-3.86-1.i386.rpm, but both complains about rpmlib dependency. # rpm

I am told by yum localinstall that I need this for TinyCA2. When I search for it, it seems like it SHOULD be part of basic perl package, but it is hard to argue with yum on dependencies.....

We are using Enterprise Ruby - I want to dig into Mcollective; however, there is no installation script in the *.tgz. Also, the rpms have various requirements from the stock distribution (RHEL5 in my case) that are already present under our Enterprise Ruby installation. Is there some clever way to weave this together. How to install the Mcollective without the typical setup.rb scripting.

I've got a Brother HL-L2360D series printer connected to Centos 7. CUPS lists it as Generic PCL6/PCL Printer - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.9 . When I tell it to print a pdf file, it prints at most the first page. After powering the thing off and turning it on again, it printed page 3 of pages 3-6 . On trying it again, the thing claimed it was receiving data and printed page 3 of pages 3-6 again.

I tried to install alsa 1.0.19 on centos 5.3 64 - did not work - compile errors. I need to re-install alsa-lib and alsa-util . I dont want to do rpm -e first on those packages as dependcy is crazy. I know they were installed (rpm -qa | grep alsa tells me so) I just want to re-install ? How do I do that? Thanks, Jerry
