Enable debug messages for gpxelinux.0
All,
For several days, I've been trying to debug an issue booting a Windows 7 machine over iscsi (utilizing gpxelinux.0 and sanboot.c32).
?
??? - I can get it to function OK utilizing plain gPXE (so I know my iscsi config is OK and also the iscsi drive is OK).
??? - When utilizing gpxelinux, the system shows that the iscsi drive is mounting and trying to boot. However, at that point the

1 model out of a dozen hangs at "loading boot sector... booting..."
Hello,
I am new to this list. We are trying to move away from our WDS server with PXElinux mods and are testing using iPXE on a linux box only. We mainly use HP but also have Dells, Panasonic, and Lenovo. On almost a dozen models tested now, everything works great. These were mostly laptops but a Dell Optiplex 360 and 380 booted fine. So far we have just had a problem with the HP 6005 Pro SFF

Problems with gpxelinux and Broadcom 57711
Hello.
We are using gpxelinux from SYSLINUX 4.02. We recently purchased some HP
Proliant BL460c G6 servers with Broadcom BCM 57711 10Gbit NICS.
We have a very simple pxelinux.gpxe script compiled into gpxelinux.0:
#!gpxe
set use-cached 1
dhcp net0
chain http://webserver/gpxe/gpxe.php?IP=${net0/ip}
The PHP script dynamically creates a config file that looks something
like this:
#!gpxe

elflink issues
I noticed several issues when diagnosing why pxechn.c32 didn't work in
5.01-pre3.
1) pxechn.c32, prdhcp.c32 and other modules crash Syslinux and force a
reboot by executing an unresolved symbols. unload_pxe(), dns_resolv()
and pxe_call() are the three. "Error: An undefined symbol was
referenced"
2) In past versions, I built a debug build by having "CFLAGS +=
-DDEBUG=1"

How to support iSCSI multipath...
Hi Bootmeisters,
I am using gpxelinux.0 + sanboot.c32 to boot a diskless machine into Linux. I
would like to use device-mapper-multipath to provide fault tolerant access to
its root disk.
Although I am able to do this by hardcoding the additional paths in the initrd,
it would be better if the bootloader could pass the information in the iBFT
(iSCSI Boot Firmware Table). However, at the

Just some random and humble thoughts...
Perhaps it would be worth some additional tests?
Maybe a test with pxelinux.0 version 4.07? And using "LINUX", not
"KERNEL":

PXE Boot Menu with iSCSI and AOE!
Dear developer,
I am working on a project for my graduate work (diploma), which includes iSCSI and AOE booting. I made some menus using pxelinux and things are working fine with linux, but I have a small problem with windows system which require direct iscsi or aoe access.
I have dhcpd.conf setup that it to each first dhcp request handles out pxelinux.0, then I can chooose from that menu which OS

pxechn.c32: passing options to iPXE
In PXELinux 4.06 (the vanilla version, not gpxelinux.0), I'm trying to use
pxechn.c32 to call iPXE (undionly) with option 67 set to call an iPXE
script.
The relevant portion of my PXELinux config looks like this:
LABEL MDT
MENU LABEL ^B - MDT 2012 SP1
com32 pxechn.c32
APPEND undionly.kpxe -o 67.s=ipxe/mdt.ipxe
However iPXE doesn't seem to get the option correctly, it goes into

Syslinux-5.10-pre1
Folks,
I've just released the first prelease for the 5.10 series. The intention
is to leave 5.02-pre3 where it is and move to 5.10-pre1. The only
difference between 5.02-pre3 and 5.10-pre1 is the merge of the lwip
branch (and a single commit to fixup the -DDEBUG=2 build), which
warranted a bump in the version minor number. See the shortlog below for
details of the differences between

[PATCH 0/5] Deleting __intcall() from Syslinux
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at intel.com>
Since we can't use __intcall() for EFI, and since we can now have the
ELF module code resolve all our symbols at runtime, we should delete
as many references to __intcall() as possible and just access the
symbols directly.
The most interesting patch is the support for weak symbols. We need to
be able to reference derivative-specific

lpxelinux.0 - 6.02 - failed to load ldlinux.c32
Hello Geert
Thanks for replying.. But i think i can?t use it, as i don?t reach the point where the debug module will be available.. it just pulls the lpxelinux.0 and tries to get the next download-- the ldlinux.c32 and it fails...and freezes.
And the next step would be other modules i think.. if i?m wrong.. excuse me 8-).. yesterday i managed to get ipxelinux working from ipxe.org.. so the nic
