[tftpd PATCH 0/5] pidfile option and syslog fix
Hi,
This is my current patch queue. The patches are independent, AFAIK,
so feel free to cherry-pick or reject them independently.
The bottom one was needed for a successful build here; the top one
contains all the modifications you requested on IRC, and more.
Meanwhile I hit one of the four stray TABs in tftpd.c, and decided to
get rid of them.
Comments welcome.

tftpd-hpa suggestions
Hello, Peter and others!
there are some issues regarding the tftp-hpa server:
1. Running as Windows service seems to require that the application does
not detach (otherwise "net start" says smth. like "could not start,
the service didn't report any errors").
The attached patch adds the option "-n", which can be used to have
tftpd run in foreground.

[PATCH] getpwnam() implementation in tftpd.c
Hi,
This patch implements a minimal getpwnam() function in tftpd.c.
The reason for the patch is that I needed tftpd to work in my embedded
system, which are without libnss*. The patch has been tested, and works
for me. Please consider it.
Best regards,
jules

I'd rather not have CVS commit scripts mucking with the code. If you want
to have the nightly tester whine about source code with spaces at the end
of lines (like it whines about

[PATCH 0/1] sparsify: Let --in-place capture ^C and shut down gracefully
This patch is easier to read if you use the 'git show -w' option.
Also observe that:
fun a -> ( fun () -> (* code *) )
(ie. returning a closure) is identical to:
fun a () -> (* code *)

Remap not enabled on some builds...
Hi-
Here at Columbia Unix Systems Group we experienced difficulty getting
tftpd-hpa to build on certain systems (including Debian Woody), and
after investigation, my officemate Lev discovered that it is a problem
with the autoconf script, not the source code for the
application itself. Perhaps others will be helped by this info...
Good luck!

[PATCH v3 0/6] v2v: Add -o rhv-upload output mode.
v2 -> v3:
- Lots of code cleanups.
- Documentation.
However this is still spooling the file into a temporary before the
upload. It turns out that fixing this is going to require a small
change to qemu.

[PATCH 00/10] New API: disk-create for creating blank disks.
A lot of code runs 'qemu-img create' or 'truncate' to create blank
disk images.
In the past I resisted adding an API to do this, since it essentially
duplicates what you can already do using other tools (ie. qemu-img).
However this does simplify calling code quite a lot since qemu-img is
somewhat error-prone to use (eg: don't try to create a disk called
"foo:bar")

[PATCH 1/1] fork, vhost: Use CLONE_THREAD to fix freezer/ps regression
When switching from kthreads to vhost_tasks two bugs were added:
1. The vhost worker tasks's now show up as processes so scripts doing
ps or ps a would not incorrectly detect the vhost task as another
process. 2. kthreads disabled freeze by setting PF_NOFREEZE, but
vhost tasks's didn't disable or add support for them.
To fix both bugs, this switches the vhost task to be thread in the

[PATCH -next 000/491] treewide: use fallthrough;
There is a new fallthrough pseudo-keyword macro that can be used
to replace the various /* fallthrough */ style comments that are
used to indicate a case label code block is intended to fallthrough
to the next case label block.
See commit 294f69e662d1 ("compiler_attributes.h: Add 'fallthrough'
pseudo keyword for switch/case use")
These patches are intended to allow clang to
