[PATCH] Gfxboot COMBOOT module
This is the latest version of the gfxboot module. It's supposed to work on
all Syslinux derivatives.
I am not sure about the copyright notice and would appreciate any input.

[RFC][PATCH] Gfxboot COMBOOT module
So here it is. Ugly and far from acceptable shape but nonetheless it seems to
work. Parts are borrowed from syslinux core and of course the gfxboot patch for
syslinux 3.63.
Syntax: gfxboot.com <bootlogo file>

unload memdisk+FreeDOS => local boot
Sensei H. Peter Anvin,
I have successfully modified/enhanced memdisk so that one can chainload a
local operating system after running diskless FreeDOS.
I would like your advice regarding the appropriate interface for invoking
this functionality.
In addition, I would like to know what steps to take so that you feel
comfortable considering including this in the standard syslinux
distribution.

no echo patch
Hello,
pxelinux does not has any password protection,
unfortunately my Assembler skills are not that
good to extend pxelinux with a global password
option.
Nevertheless this feature is important, because
not every user should have the right to startup
an installation of a machine over network.
The following patch is only a dirty hack, but other
might find it usefull too.(so I post it here)

[RFC][PATCH] ui: label completion on tab key
This implements the label completion on tab key idea. It does introduce
"labelcompl" as new config keyword. The default value is 0 so it does not
change current behaviour.
If you press tab with an empty command line it will display all labels. If the
command line contains any characters it will display the matching labels.
This patch is only intended for testing since i didn't check

[LLVMdev] LLVM optmization
The following C test program was compiled using LLVM with -O3 option and MSVC with /O2.
The MSVC one is about 600 times faster than the one compiled with the LLVM.
We can see that the for loop in MSVC assembler is solved in the optimization pass more efficiently than that in LLVM.
Is there an way to get a optimization result in LLVM like that of the MSVC?

EFI: HP + syslinux = crash
In another mail I discussed my adventures on netbooting syslinux 6.03
and newer from iPXE, either from an emulated rom on qemu/kvm/ovmf or by
chainloading via ipxe.efi onto a real HP Proliant DL360 gen9 piece of
iron. You might have asked yourself, why chainload? Why not load it
directly? Believe me, i tried.
First I had to 'fix' my dhcpd.conf because HP probably read the docs on

[LLVMdev] trunk's optimizer generates slower code than 3.5
I submitted the problem report to clang's bugzilla but no one seems to
care so I have to send it to the mailing list.
clang 3.7 svn (trunk 229055 as the time I was to report this problem)
generates slower code than 3.5 (Apple LLVM version 6.0
(clang-600.0.56) (based on LLVM 3.5svn)) for the following code.
It is a "8 queens puzzle" solver written as an educational example. As

it appears as the original post: with an invalid return address. -- REW]
A few months back, a very alpha version of bliss got posted. That shouldn''t
have happened, but, it was pretty much ignored so I didn''t worry about it.
But now it seems there''s a bit of a fuss about this. I''ll post the
