HTB statistics
Hi,
there is something I''m not able to understand about HTB statistics.
Why the qdisc show show how many packets are overlimits but in the
classes there are always 0 packets overlimits or dropped?
I try to expain with a simple example. I create a qdisc htb with only a
class and then i do a lot of traffic.

You should be able to compile from the latest source on ppc64, since I
spent some time a few weeks ago getting it to work:

Start with git (not 1.22), read the README file, and let us know on

HTB
What exactly happens if the sum of the children classes rate is bigger
than the parent''s?
What if the majority of these classes are using less than the minimum
rate established (eg. 0kbps)?

Polycom IP600 - Worth the extra $$
Hello,
I am looking at the Polycom phones.
The ip600 has a very nice screen, is that the only real advantage over
the ip500 and ip300..
Is it worth the extra dollars?
Kind regards

graphing plots of plots
I want to make a graph where each element plotted is itself a graph. I can
see how to use par(fig=) and viewport to do that, but they require (i think)
me to do my own scaling as they are scaled to the graphics window. any
advice on which approach I should take (just bite the bullet and do my own
scaling), or is there something else I should try, or any examples I should
look at. many thanks

accessing current factor in tapply
G'Day,
I want to access in a function called from tapply the current factor. In
my example below, all I want to do is to write the current factor on each
histogram. Needless to say my example does not work. I would be grateful
for pointers in the right direction.
Many thanks

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] AArch64 Clang CLI interface proposal
I knew I'd regret leaving that option in for the MIPS port back in 99.
Basically this is the only acceptable way for mcpu to exist, but should
never have been added to the GCC aarch64 port at all since there's no
compatibility with existing build systems to worry about.
I would still like you to show this mythical piece of software that needs
this compatibility.

SAMBA on AIX
Hi everyone,
I run to some confusion here and hope someone give me a answer before I
implement it.
I am trying to install samba2.05 on my AIX 4.3.1, but the binary file in the
web site is for AIX 4.3.2. Can I still use the binary file for my
installation on AIX 4.3.1 ?
Thanks !

blues in c
G'Day,
I'm a little confused why the c function has the followng effect on
classes - is this a feature ? My workround [ class(cc) <- c("POSIXt",
"POSIXct") ] seems to do the job.
Many thanks

Bandwidth
Assuming I'm using a VOIP provider of some sort, what kind of bandwidth
requirements / line should I expect to have in place? I currently have
8 traditional voice lines, and a FAX line that doubles as my DSL
source. Ballpark, what do I need to have in place to move everything to
asterisk?

Quick plot question
Is there an easy way to add an axis or just a simple line at the 0
position of a graph with positive and negative values. Specifically,
I'ld like to add a zero line on a plot of residuals from a fit. I'm
very new at R so if this is a dumb question feel free to let me know but
I'ld still appreciate any help.
Thanks
Bernie

Serialized form... problems with accents
Hi,
I''m working on a french website and I use the Form.serialize method to
send the info through AJAX. The thing is that the accentuated letters
(é,ê,à, etc.) don''t get replaced by their HTML entities and they get
corrupted when retrieving the data. How could I fix that?
thanks a lot,

explorer.exe: no mapping between names and security ids was done
... I just want to put this somewhere easily searchable based on the users error message.
Upgrading a domain controller to Debian 8 (samba 3 to 4) resulted in the message "no mapping between names and security
ids was done" at times. The message appears on the windows 7 domain pcs when running explorer.exe. Also other basic
things did not work: internet explorer, or mapping between
