[5.10] PXE + dhcp opts 209, 210 and path issues in tftp/http
Hello, First, this setup works fine without any error in syslinux 4.06 as show below. For convenience, both versions of syslinux 4.06 [#1] and 5.10 [#2] directories (~2MB each) are uploaded ready for test. As said before, this is tested on qemu-1.5.0 + dnsmasq 2.66 in Arch Linux @ 64-bit. If more info is needed, please let me know. Good luck! Relevant directory structure is at

Syslinux 6.x EFI PXE
All, I have scoured the mailing list and the web and I can't seem to find any help on this issue. I am attempting to have EFI machines boot over PXE and then load various Linux Live distributions. I have a similar setup over standard BIOS machines and all is well on that end. First I have tried SysLinux 6.0, 6.1, and 6.2 for various EFI enabled machines and thus far 6.1 gets me to the

gpxelinux.0 and slow HTTP performance on VMware ESX VM
Hi, first of all I would like to voice my deep gratitude to all syslinux developers for this really important software. I am using it in all my automation projects and could not manage without. Unfortunately now I stumbled upon a problem where I am out of my wits and need some help. The core problem is that HTTP transfers by gpxelinux.0 are very slow. Sadly this problem seems to be somehow

DBAN and vesamenu.c32
I'm integrating DBAN (http://dban.sourceforge.net/) into our PXE boot menu system (using vesamenu.c32) but it just hangs when I'm using vesamenu.c32 and confusingly when I revert our menu system to using vesa.c32 it works ok. I've stripped out any extraneous configuration but it still seems to have the same problem. When I use this in pxelinux.cfg it boots into DBAN ok: default

menu broken if default 'append' option specified
Hello. This is my first post here. ;) I noticed that if the default 'append' option is specified in the config file, menu and vesamenu wont boot the system. Instead of offering a menu, the screen goes blank; after hitting any key on the keyboard, empty menu frame gets displayed with no boot entry list inside. It gets fixed by removing default 'append' entry (the one before any
