RE: Bootitng and CDShell...
Hi! Although it may seem so, this is the wrong place to put your question. Please contact the CDShell developer. RE: Bootitng and CDShell...
Hello, Can anyone help me? Does any of you manage to load (boot) Bootitng through CDShell? How can I ensure that diskemu emulates a 1.44MB floppy? Any ideas? Hello
What I'm trying to get at is this -- I'd like to analyze and understand what softwares that was used to build a library of softwares that made it as UBCD 4.x. This way, I would be able to use UBCD as a model to build customized ITS apps to be used for campus tech work. Is there some kind of step-by-step or user guide that explains how to build everything from scratch and what softwares

SYSLINUX-3.52-pre5: XP BOOTSEC.BIN Bug
I just encountered my only bug w/ the ISOLINUX+VESAMENU combination from 3.52-pre5. Updated a *working* CD project w/ the new ISOLINUX+VESAMENU combo just last week. Booting my preferred Linux distro (Slax-6) from my custom CDs work perfectly, however when I updated a CD project that includes BartPE/WinPE, BartPE fails to boot w/ 'CDBoot can not boot CD: error 4" msg. syslinux/isolinux capabilities
I'm wondering if it's possible to use isolinux on a bootable CDR to boot an ISO9660 disk image off of the CDR's filesystem. I'm trying to make a multi-boot CD which is capable of booting both floppy images and smaller ISO9660 images (such as the debian netinst or DSL - damnsmall linux), and I am wondering if isolinux is capable of doing this (or something similar to this -

Full_Name: Manikandan Narayanan Version: 2.8.1 OS: linux-gnu Submission from: (NULL) (155.91.28.231) Hi R-folks, I have two three-line text files: tst1, tst2 (they are the same except that the second line is longer in tst1; see cat() cmds below). read.table is only able to read the 3rd line in tst1, however reads tst2 correctly as shown below. This happens both in R 2.5.1 (windows) and R

Windows PE booting without chainloading ipxe
Adding an option for initrdfile= boot argument to be ignored by wimboot worked just fine. They can add this patch, which is probably most sane, or syslinux could add the INITRDFILE configuration option instead of having to append the option for linux.c32 wimboot-2.4.0/src/cmdline.c @ Line ~107 } else if ( key == cmdline ) { /* Ignore unknown initial

(hpa-tftpd] remapping with regular expression problem
Hi mailing list, I'm working on PXE booting a BartPE (=Windows XP) system from a server running hpa tftpd. In the initialization phase the files are requested from the boot server by TFTP, later the transfer is switched to SMB. Most of the problems during this tftp phase can be solved with the remapping feature quite nicely like: *converting filenames into absolute paths *convert

USB Boot WinPE 2.0 via syslinux
Hello all, I'm booting for 1 year WinPE 2.0 and floppy disk images via PXE (pxelinux) and this works very well. I also want my floppy disk images and WinPE 2.0 on a bootable USB Stick.
