pxelinux bootup problems on EPIA-M
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had a good dhcpd.conf and /tftpboot
files for a EPIA-M motherboard with RedHat 9.0.... Or maybe
just a configuration that works with the EPIA-M (doesn't matter
which type of linux).
I'm trying to boot the system from the network and it seems to
be getting to downloading pxelinux.0 but then nothing happens
after that....
I'm using ISC dhcpd V3.0pl2,

Polycom or Linksys phones bootp tftp config setup
Hi All,
Has anyone gotten the polycoms or the linksys phones to accept oprtion
66 on the dhcp request for the address of the tftp config server?
We have the dhcp server issuing the proper IP of the tftp server, but
the phones just sit there and never try to contact the tftp server for
their configs. We can see the proper option going from the dhcp to
the phones with ethereal trace.
Thanks

Problems with old hardware
Hi all
I have a Zenith N-Station (1997) P166 64 Mb of Ram
it has a Intel LANDesk Service Agent version 0.98i

I have tried methode from http://syslinux.zytor.com/pxe.php
Each time I use ethereal to check the protocol
The behavior is quite strange :
I have the "Boot :" line the pxelinux is loading correctly

[LLVMdev] alias analysis in ScheduleDagInstr class
We observed exact same problem, and I did put in place a mechanism to
recognize and break such false dependencies right before pre-RA scheduler
(in DAG->DAG lowering), but the immediate observed effect for our back end
was performance reduction, since none of the current schedulers were capable
of dealing with newly presented parallelism in BB (resulted in high reg
pressure and

[LLVMdev] alias analysis in ScheduleDagInstr class
Hi Sergei, thanks for considering my question. We if-convert some code, such that the basic block looks as follows after if-conversion:
ld char from A into R1
p1 = R1>255? (generate the predicate)
p1 | R1 = 255 (conditional execution)
st char R1 to A
ld char from A+1 into R2
p2 = R2>255? (generate the predicate)
p2 | R2 = 255 (conditional execution)
store char R2 to A+1
The problem is

PXE boot from Windows XP
Yes, you are missing these options in the DHCP server:
66 'Boot Server Host Name' (the tftp server IP)
67 'Bootfile Name' (pxelinux.0)

[LLVMdev] Recent changes to MCRegisterClass fields: uint8_t is too narrow
I changed it to uint16_t in r152100. Is that enough for your architecture?

[LLVMdev] Recent changes to MCRegisterClass fields: uint8_t is too narrow
Hi all,
in r152019 (from ctopper), the number of available registers of any type in a machine description is decreased to 256 because it needs to be encoded in uint8_t now. I'm trying to support an experimental embedded architecture with more registers (out of tree), but now that becomes impossible. Anyone knows a solution?

Doing it manually... didn't find that option.

Tried it but still the same error.

[LLVMdev] alias analysis in ScheduleDagInstr class
In ScheduleDagInstr.cpp, a todo is mentioned to make this pass use real alias analysis information. Is anybody working on this already?
I am working on a VLIW-like backend and have If-conversion working rather well, but the problem is that independent loads and stores in the if-converted blocks are not scheduled well at all.

Hi Peter.
I have some question:
on my nt4 dhcp server i have added the option (067 Bootfile Name -

command ccm (www.ontechnology.de)
the clients boot with pxe this boot.ovl.
now my question:
I want to to boot in a menue with two options.

Hi,
that solved my problem on trunk as well, thanks. Strange that you have to include this though.

[LLVMdev] strange dbgs() behavior: unable to print floats in machine backend
Can you try making the constructor "explicit" for PrintReg in
include/llvm/Target/TargetRegisterInfo.h. I think you were getting an
implicit conversion there which should probably be fixed anyway.

I was working yesterday and after I provide my IAXy box it loose any

4-STABLE b0rked in share/locale/zh_CN.GBK
Murray,
Your commits earlier this evening to zh_CN.GB18030 fixed that -STABLE
breakage, but zh_CN.GBK appears still to be missing, which causes
'make installworld' to fail. Can you please fix this as well?
