Re: SYSLINUX Digest, Vol 29, Issue 2
Sure, I don't mind testing it out on there for you, but, where do I
find the pre releases to try then?
At least we know it's between 2.13 and 3.00. That narrows it a bit I
would think. Mind you, if it jumps up a major revision number, I
guess that means a lot of changes went in.

Thanks Tom. Development doldrums in another open source project
I, too, want to thank Tom for such a great software package and all the
support he has always given.
I was just reading a Slashdot interview with the Nagios/NetSaint author
Ethan Galstad. The whole article is interesting and I bet the questions
and answers would be similar for Shorewall:

Space between bars in barplot
Hi
I am trying to understand the "space" argument to barplot() and I think
it is not working as stated. The docs say:
space: the amount of space (as a fraction of the average bar width)
left before each bar.
Which means that I can pass a vector, the same length as the no. of
bars, and the nth element of that vector will be the space left before
the nth bar. This is

SYSLINUX 3.70 released
Hello everyone,
I have just released SYSLINUX 3.70, which is the first version which
includes gPXE for support of non-TFTP network scripts, as well as a
large number of other enhancments. gPXE support is still somewhat
experimental - in particular it still doesn't support chaining other NBPs.
Very special thanks to:

Controlling Outbound traffic...alternative to dsl_qos_queue
Hi , this probably was asked many times before , but here it goes..
Until now i was using dsl_qos_queue - http://www.sonicspike.net/software/
Which limits outbound traffic and does packet priorites with iptables
using MARKed packets.. works very well , I run a ftpserver + webserver so
it''s usefull to set these 2 with lowest priority and my multiplayer gaming
running on certain UDP ports

Speeding up simulation of mean nearest neighbor distances
I've written the function below to simulate the mean 1st through nth
nearest neighbor distances for a random spatial pattern using the
functions nndist() and runifpoint() from spatsat. It works, but runs
relatively slowly - would appreciate suggestions on how to speed up
this function. Thanks. --Dale

problem with nth patch, counter parameter...I think
Hi all, I need some guidance to get my problem fixed. I believe there
is an issue with the ''nth'' patch from the patch-o-matic, which is
labeled as status ''works''.
I have tunnels back and forth across the internet, using ''nth'' to
balance packets between different public networks (over the tunnels).
I need to access some networks over two

First of all, I''d like to thank Andy Furniss for his direction and for
helping me get a working example up and running.
For the following set up to work, you will need a linux computer at
the ISP (server), a linux computer at the client location (client),
and some a public range of IP''s you plan to send down to your client.

Dovecot+LDAP lda problem
Hello everyone,
I need some help with Dovecot+LDAP config and local delivery.
We're using Dovecot 2.0.9 on Centos 6.4. Before, we used Qmail with the
same LDAP. Our LDAP accounts have the attribute
deliveryMode
which we used for mailing lists (OK, they are in fact mailing groups
rather than lists). When the attribute is set to
deliveryMode = nolocal
Qmail did not deliver mail to the
