Cisco MC3810 -> Asterisk
Hi Everyone, I've got a Cisco 3810 rig with 6 analog FXS ports, and ethernet. I'm wondering in anyone has got one of these suckers to work with asterisk in such a way that each FXS port has it's own extension. It speaks SIP, and I can send calls from asterisk out to it, but can't figure out how to get it to pass username & pw to asterisk when I try to configure it as a

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] How to change the linker of clang
That's what I used to do but each Ubuntu update would revert the symlink. That's when I found about -fuse-ld=gold, I'd expect it to work with other linkers as well. Is it possible to start Installer from WindowsXP?
Hi, My computer has only primaly IDE but not secondaly. I connected a hard drive as Master and DVD-R as Slave on IDE. BIOS doesn't recognize IDE devices, but Windows XP that boots up from SATA hard drive can recognize DVD-R and can read files on the CentOS Installer Disk 1 of 4. Is it possible to start Centos4 Installer from WindowsXP? If possible, which file on Disk 1 should I click? Even

relationship between syslinux and loadlin
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Could someone possibly clarify the relationship between these 2 programs? I am in a situation where I am developing for an embedded system, and I need to rewrite my CMOS before I actually boot into linux. ~ The only tools for manipulating my cmos happen to be DOS utilities, and I was hoping that I could script their use in autoexec.bat or somewhere

Sgi 1600SW flatpanel and Xen
Hi all! Did somebody uses the Sgi 1600SW flatpanel with a Xen-machine? If I boot a xen-dom0-kernel the last I see is the grub. The machine is booting up but with a black flatpanel. So what''s the problem with this special flatpanel? Starts the xen-hypervisor with framebuffer-support? Software like the debian-installer are using the wrong framebuffer-settings so that I have to disable

optimization of R on SGI/IRIX
For R-1.4.0, I have been able to build R.bin with -O2 flag. This however did not yield any significant speed-up for my code. I then tried building the binary for 64 bit, but had not been able to configure the build; none of the suggestions that I can find in the r-help search worked for me. I'm looking for any other suggestions -- TIA mod:>> uname -a IRIX64 mod 6.5 10100655 IP35

Mounting SMB shares on SGI IRIX
Hello, We have been successfully using Samba to access Unix filesystems on Windows computers. So far we only had SGI IRIX computers and very few Windows computers. Recently we have started adding Windows clients to the network and now we wish to do the reverse i.e. access Windows shared areas from SGI computers, mainly for backup purposes. We are using Networker to take automated backups.

R-beta: Installation problems on SGI-IRIX
Hello, first, I'd like to congratulate everybody involved in the development of this statistical software. I've been working for a while with R on Macintosh, and I like the incredible freedom that we get when working with a flexible program like R. Experiencing serious limitations in the implementation of functions and reuse of results of previous analyses in traditional statistical

R-beta: small patch for R-0.61 on SGI Irix 5.3
I built R-0.60.1 using SGI's cc and f77 compilers, but it dumped core in scan.c: ConsoleGetchar(), so I waited for 0.61. This had the same problem, which appears to be fixed by the following patch: *** scan.c.000 Fri Nov 21 00:06:43 1997 --- scan.c Wed Dec 31 12:11:05 1997 *************** *** 27,33 **** static char ConsoleBuf[CONSOLE_BUFFER_SIZE]; static char *ConsoleBufp; ! static

compiling R for SGI IRIX
When I attempt to compile R, I immediately get the error: 'make: file `Makefile' line 49: bad character & (octal 46) *** Error code 1 (bu21)' I have looked at line 49 of each of the makefiles and none of them seem to contain this character. Any suggestions? -- Cynthia Gibas cindy at mothership.champaign.il.us
