Maybe OT: Some strange problem with postfix
Hi all,
I have a strange problem with postfix on a CentOS 5.1 (fully patched). Every
time that postfix sends a message to public smtp servers generates an
autoresponse mail to sender about delay ...
Somebody knows how can I fix this??

OT: errors building packages from src.rpm (trying to rebuild RHELIPA)
Hi all,
I am trying to rebuild RHELIPA packages downloaded from ftp.redhat.com. All
goes ok except from python-psycopg2 package. When I try to rebuild, gives me
these errors:

OT: Apache config error
Hi all,
I have setup a local yum repository for CentOS-3 and CentOS-5. Servers can
download and install updates correctly, but apache returns me this error every
time that a centos-3 machine do a yum update:

Sombedody can points me to a good tutorial about using high availabilty
clusters with xen using heratbeat2, ocfs2 and evms under rhel/centos, debian or
sles??
I am doing various searches without a result ... (google shows me a lot of

OT: a very big problem with ipsec-tools on CentOS5 (SOLVED)
Buf ... Solved. Problem was that /etc/pam.d/racoon doesn't exists (I found this
tip on NetBSD ipsec pages). Simply I have copied /etc/pam.d/passwd to
/etc/pam.d/racoon and now all works as expected.

Running FreeBSD 6.x 64 bits under xen as a hvm guest
Hi all,
Somebody have tried to run FreeBSD 6.x or 7.x 64 bits under xen as a HVM
guest?? Under xenhost 32bits based, freebsd bootloader crash (on Intel platform)
and it isn''t possible to install. But what about 64 bits?? FreeBSD bootloader
crash too??

Extract ip address from a kvm guest
Hi all,
Somebody knows how can I extract/know an ip address used by a kvm
guest using a script?? For example I have the following guests:
[root at kvmsrv01 bin]# virsh list --all

OpenBSD 4.0 as guest network doesn''t work

I have installed an OpenBSD 4.0 box under RHEL 4.4 (using HVM
hardware) dom0 using xensource rpm packages (Xen 3.0.3).
Install process works ok (except terminal that it sees very very bad).
When I try to access OpenBSD via ssh network doesn''t responds. I have
another linux guest with the same network config and all works ok.

GDM problems whe using LDAP for user id information
Hi all,
I have a CentOS-5 workstation configured to retrieve user id information from
LDAP server and password from another kerberos server.
If I setup a user entry on /etc/passwd file all works ok, user can logon on
GDM and password is verifiyed via kerberos.
But If I use LDAP to retrieve user information, GDM doesn't works. On the
other side, I can login on console using ldap for

USB redirection under CentOS 6.4
Hi all,
Does usb redirection works?? I am trying to assign to a Win7 kvm guest
an usb HP printer without luck ... My second attempt is to use usb
redirection, but according to Redhat's docs, this option is only
available for windows using RHEV ... Is this correct??
Exists another tool to assign a printer via usb to a kvm guest??

resolving names it is really slow slow with CentOS5.x using named
Hi all,
I have a problem using named with different CentOS5 servers (2 servers): all
they are really slow to resolv any internet address and most of time fails to
resolv. This situation differs if I use "forwarders" servers like opendns:
resolving names it is really really quickly. And I don't understand why.
On the other hand I have tested three DNS servers using Windows
