pxelinux gets stuck after loading configuration file
Hi,
i got some strange behavior of pxelinux (V3.07).
Most times it works fine but sometimes it got stuck after it load the
configuration file with tftp.
neither SAY-message are displayed nor DISPLAY-messages.
the only difference i found is on the tftp communication:
when it got stuck i'll traced a 'access violation' packet from the
the tftp-server after the last ACK for the

Windows Batch File
Hiya,
I have read the FAQ for windows and read point 2.10. I setup a dos batch
file which contains the following line:
C:\progra~1\R\rw2001\bin\Rterm.exe --vanilla
I then tried:
R CMD BATCH --argument myscript.R result.out
then it started R. I thought by running R CMD BATCH executes R
non-interactively. I am working on a Windows XP. I tried it on a Mac OSX and
that worked fine. So I'm not

Display Problems with PXELINUX 3.09
I've just updated from v3.07 to v3.09. After completing
the upgrade my graphic (logo) no longer displays. It did
work while running V3.07. Is this a known bug? All
replies would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to compile icecast 2.2.0 under Suse 9.2
Dear list members,
I am not able to compile the icecast source under Suse 9.2.
as i have to admit my experience in compiling is reduced to
typing ./configure. Is there someone who can help me with this error
message?

Graphic Display Problems with V3.09
I just upgraded from v3.07 to v3.09. After completing the
upgrade my graphic (logo) no longer displays. It worked
when I was running v3.07. Is this a known bug in v3.09?
If not, any ideas why it stopped working in v3.09 but
worked in v3.07?
Thanks for all the help in advance.

hanging pxelinux.0 and menu.c32 on Dell 1850
Hello all.
I've got this weird problem. If I try to boot a simple menu using
syslinux's (v 3.09) pxelinux.0 and menu.c32 -files my Dell 1850 loses
the keyboard / hangs straight after loading menu.c32. The machine has to
be powered off completely.
I did some research and got it working by using menu.c32 v3.09 and
pxelinux.0 v3.07 -combo.
It seems that from version 3.08 on something has

PXELINUX gets stuck when receiving non-PXE traffic
Hey,
I am running a custom-built router (based on a PCengines apu2c4 board, see
https://github.com/rtr7/router7 for details) on which I am using PXE boot
for recovery purposes, i.e. reverting to an older version of the
software/configuration. In this scenario, my workstation acts as the DHCP,
TFTP and HTTP server, and my router PXE boots into a recovery program.
I have noticed a couple of times

need a simply configuration for calling in/out to PSTN
Hi all,
I have configured Asterisk to call to PSTN phone from
our IP phone, But I am unable to call my IP phone from
a PSTN phone (If I called any number between 21494350
and 21494399, the card should route my call to my IP
phone, IF my configuration was correct). I have done
my research and gathered bits and pieces of
information (which are vague by the way) but still
cannot call my IP phone from

pxelinux 3.09 LOCALBOOT does not work (v3.07 does)
Hi,
when trying to boot from local disk with PXELINUX v 3.09, the
systems just beeps and hangs. The last message appearing on the
screen is "Booting from local disk..."
Running PXELINUX v 3.07 works for me (but I'd like to use v.3.09
because of the increased max command line size.
The BIOS boot priority configuration is PXE/Disk/Disabled.

FWIW, the official binaries from 6.04-pre2 and 6.04-pre3 are not good
for troubleshooting.
Is the same behavior present when testing with other versions? I would
suggest trying 6.04-pre1, and/or the binaries from Debian Sid /

TFTP server gets stuck for me. But not all of the time?
I finally got around to trying to learn how to setup and configure a
PXE server on a spare system I've been using as a router/download
server. It took me forever, but I finally got everything more or less
together and in a working form. But it seems I'm having an unusual
problem outside of all this.
I never really got a TFTP server fully working. After several failed

[LLVMdev] Enhancing the Trident compiler
Hi Nico,
Yes, that's true! :-) I just listed it in order of
short-comings of the existing compiler.
I've been reading up on existing tools, and it would appear that a
couple of commercial tools exist, most notably Xilinx AutoESL, which
supports C, C++, SystemC and M-code. Others support better C
functionality, e.g. c-to-verilog, which does not have the current

Stuck at "Trying to Load: pxelinux.cfg/default"
Hello,
I'm extremely new to Linux and am working on creating a PXE server/menu
with PXELINUX and Microsoft DHCP/TFTP. I've gotten it to work great
with the exception of one box: the IBM SurePOS 532. If I specify a boot
image in my DEFAULT file, it works fine. However when I try to use
MENU.C32, it gets stuck at "Trying to Load: pxelinux.cfg/default."
Based on TFTP logs, it

Polycom subscriptions
Somewhat off topic.
We upgraded a Polycom phone from SIP v1.6.3 to v1.6.6
The phone will no longer send SIP subscription messages for buddies to Asterisk. I have broken the directory file down to make it as simple as possible.
Here is what it contains.
