Hi David, My question is: why both #ifdef and #else branches are missing? I think at least one of the two should be present... In fact there is a case where the width could be greater then PNG_USER_WIDTH_MAX but not greater then PNG_UINT_31_MAX. That's why I was expecting at least one of the two... I'm also having trouble installing R 1.3.1 on Solaris and getting png and jpeg support. It looks like perhaps the png and jpeg libraries I installed weren't built with all the support R needs. Add cc-name to klibc/scripts/Kbuild.include. Make optimization flags not supported by clang conditional on cc-name. Use "--print-file-name=include" and "--print-libgcc-file-name" when using clang.
