Using samba-3.0.10-1.4E.2 as supplied by RedHat Enterprise 4. Using security=ADS mode, and using winbind and pam_winbind to authenticate. I was able to sucessfully join the domain, and can enumerate users and groups. Hello there. Just to let you know i have just put in production mode puppet on 41 freeBSD 4.7 virtual servers (yes not real servers but "jailed ones"). I had some little problems with facter at first but i have manualy upgraded the servers that where affected by the little "facter does not read his facts" problem i had. The problem I see with this, is that the Winbind uid mappings will not necessarily be the same on both nodes in the HA cluster.
